The other day I was walking our dog and I seen a box turtle on the road. So I stopped and put him on the other side of the road. I almost took it home then I remembered, there on the endangered species list. It made me a little sad because I used to have them as pets growing up. So much for kids these days finding there pets outside, besides frogs. Frogs are awesome
They are unbeliveably friendly/curious and tend to tangle themselves up in the human world, as well as use our roads to sun themselves. They can be handled easily without much difficulty which makes it hard.
Ive had to "rescue" at least 4 of em in my life from precarious positions.
