I am open but I am sad you're being scammed!

All signs so far point to this unfortunately. Especially the fact that they deleted any written proof that I had asked for a commission in the first place, as well as the fact that the paypal account I sent the money to has a female name and not the male name I believe to actually belong to the artist.

Oh wow, that's really awful. You can file a dispute up to 120 days after you sent payment on Paypal.

Yeah I just did this morning (about a week after the transaction) so we'll see how that goes :/

The latter is fairly common especially when there's people that use the name of a relative to start the account (for various and sundry reasons).

They deleted the proof in the form of a journal or notes? That really sucks...I hope you backed things up on your end. Also, is it possible to reverse the charges or ask for a refund?

Apparently when I file a dispute, the seller has to provide proof that -something- was sent in return for the payment (in the form of receipts, etc. I think) so I did file a dispute, we'll see how that goes.

But yeah, the last name isn't even the same or anything. Basically the only thing that 'Deathnear' (check out their Da, I think that's a legitimate account and this Teragabba person have in common is that they both speak Russian.

That's stupid. I bought a commission once and didn't hear from the guy for probably 8 months. Then he replied out of nowhere and disappeared again. Never got it. I don't know how people can pull that. Also I'm open for commissions, lol.

I am open, but very busy with the full time job. Turnaround time is painfully slow.

As for suggestions  Nyaasu is quite good.  Lyenuv does wonderful work as well. Both are faster than I.

I'd be open as well, should you be out for some traditional art. I ship all over the world, too! (only not right now, our mail people are on strike because german postal service tries to pull some bullshit...)
