You know, I come up with lots of fairly generic scenarios, so when I come across other people with similar scenarios then of course it doesn't bother me. Heck, I get annoyed when I see other people complaining about others copying their "original" idea, when in fact that idea is pretty generic also. That's all fair, we all get inspiration from others.

But when you copy someone else's art, that's complete laziness. I've come across a fair few pieces of art that are blatant copies of mine, same pose and everything. I don't take that as a compliment, it's an insult. There isn't even an attempt to hide the fact you've blatantly taken something that I've worked on and just drawn lines over it and altered it slightly, before posting it as your own.

And then when it's combined with the scenario also? It's the epitome of laziness. It's cheap also. I'm not gonna name names, but it pisses me off. So if you read this and you do this, do the right thing and make your own work. Take inspiration, that's fine! But don't rip off others. Hell, at the very least mention the artist your work is borderline plagiarising, fs.
