i will say this about that kind of threat, im not sure exactly what your situation with your commissioner may be, but the community where things of that nature get posted go through an extensive moderation process.

so if say that the commissioner is really rude and irrational and they want to slam you for a misunderstanding, its likely that something like that won't make it through to the community.

that place is a really valid community to share commission and client experiences, despite what others may think of it!
don't let the threats get to you, but just maintain solid communication with your clients and you really have nothing to worry about.

and if you do get posted, its not really something to freak out over, as long as you maintain your cool, you can find a positive resolution and still save face.

That kind of lists are created to warn against artists who disappear for months without reason or take the payment and refuse to complete the work and other anti-consumer behaviours. I'm pretty sure that "please wait a couple more days because I'm not well" does not qualify for that, so it's really just empty threats from a rude commisioner. The best thing to do would be trying to resolve the situation in a diplomatic way but without panicking, offering free art because they yelled and threatened you may have the danger of encouraging that aggressive approach.
I'm just saying this of course only based on what you wrote so I don't know the whole story.

I say take your time. Don't rush through subs just to get back to work. :D
