I don't really do updates so often just because I'm bad at talking about myself, but here I am! >:'3
Well we're already half way through the year and its been certainly interesting so far. Being a full time artist in the community has its challenges and I suppose I'm trying to navigate what I want and where I see myself in the next few years. Stressful but I guess that's what being an adult is about XP
Well first off, mt personal life I suppose! With moving over and done with, I'm looking into finishing up school to get my degree! Not that Art institute is a name I can trade on, at the very least I'll have my diploma which will open up the doors to pursuing a masters. But I'm getting ahead of myself! Finishing school will also give me time and resources to complete my portfolio and hopefully help me grow as an artist, I suppose we'll see.
Now regarding the community, I have a lot of projects I want to pursue, among them 3 big comics I've been developing and a few possible animated projects. I've been considering ways to support these but given I'll be in school for the next year time will be scarce, so I'm going to keep them in development for now. I might throw some sketches out for you guys from time to time, but suffice to say a lot of hunky unicorns will be involved! For now though I am focusing on commissions, which I cant thank you guys enough for supporting me!
I suppose that's it for now! I'll be updating my gallery soon, I'm sad to say Im a bit lazy in that regard xwx
As always I appreciate the support!

I wish you good luck in finishing up your degree! The extra practice will certainly help you continue to improve your portfolio. Do you have any plans for what kind of Master's degree you'd like to pursue?
(also sorry for the late response, I've been fairly unplugged the past few days x3)
Animation is my first love, but it's quite time consuming! I suspect you'd find it very rewarding. Animation will help you a lot in almost any other field of art, as it definitely helps improve one's drawing skills (assuming it's traditional animation you're interested in, though that is unfortunately becoming a lost art at the moment).
Graduate degrees usually require a fair bit of focus, so think carefully or be prepared to shift direction after you begin, if need be. I know more than one professional artist who split their time evenly between design and illustration and I think it helped their work immensely.
I wish you well. Keep looking forward!
