Eh, E3 was a general downer if you ask me. Why Nintendo gets so much blame when everyone did just as bad is beyond me.

In all seriousness though while I have yet to watch the Digital Event, the fact that Iwata himself acknowledged everyone's disappointment is...quite something.

Fallout 4, DOOM, and a Final Fantasy VII remake that people have been demanding for years (to name a few)? I'd hardly call E3 a downer.

Eh to those first 2, disappointed in that last one. Seriously? More FF7? More waiting for a meter to fill up to attack? More edge Emo protagonists that unfortunately got popular? Not worth it. If they want to do an HD Remake of a Final Fantasy game, why not the original? That was the last good one in my opinion.

Honestly though, it sounds like its not easy to please you. E3 had plenty for me to be excited about, compared to the last few years.

To be fair, my lack of excitement for Doom and Fallout is from having not played them before. And 6 still had the problem of that same battle system and not an engrossing enough story.

You're missing out. But then again, if you dislike turn-based combat, you wouldn't enjoy Fallout.

Turn based combat is fine, it's the meter that I have to wait for to fill up that I hate. Like I said, the first Final fantasy was great, I just chose what to do and let it happen, but in 6 and 7, is my meter filled yet? No? CRAP my party's dead!

Huh, I never had issues with the meter thing... Wasn't that just another way of counting time between turns? Or do you mean the limitbreak meter?

Just the regular meter that had to fill before your character could do anything. Took to long to fill. Just let me choose my action so I can get it over with.

It was a timing thing between character turns. So if you applied Haste to a character, the meter would fill up faster, etc.
