Rusty & Responsibilities
Oh man, I know I haven't posted anything in ages but this journal entry is basically to say this account is not inactive. Though, I may reduce myself to a watcher here on FA. Maybe I have too many things to do.
I have one more exam left 2 days from now, after that I should be free. Free as in free to do more programming, maybe a bit of gaming and art and spending time with friends. It has sucked up my life.
I've already started working on some personal art between the times and discovered how rusty I was.
I'm not sure if I should do commissions let alone free art. I'm too scared to. I don't know, maybe anyone out there has some advice for me?
I mean, I can draw, I have a lot of responsibilities, now I'm a bit rusty, maybe I should give myself time.
In other news, I saw a lot of nifty games I can't wait to try like:
The Witcher 3, apparently counts as indie!
Doom 4, apparently has the guy who did Crytek engine, so I'm expecting fancy graphics.
As usual, a quote about video games: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERaaBLCqXW0
Maybe not so much a quote but yeah, inspiring words, perhaps one day, one can make a video game that can at least draw someone in like that.

P.S. I hope this is what journals are for on FA. x3

Yeah, I love games. Gaming is my passion, I hope to one day I will make a game.
I love to draw to gift to people, it makes me happy that they are happy. I don't exactly see it an obstacle between gaming, I find drawing for myself and others quite fun. Right now I want to finish off my personal art before drawing stuff for people maybe. I'll post in my journal when I would do free art - maybe.
I used to be little where I wanted someone to draw me art of my fursona. Nobody ever did, so I was like: Why not be a self made man and draw your own stuff? So I did. But I didn't draw very well back then. It's only recently my art mentality suddenly somehow clicked in. I was like, I made music, let's do art! And thus, this account I made in 2011 is active now in 2015.
I'm only scared because I don't feel like my art is worth the wait and its quality.
I'm also afraid if I offer art for a price, I may become less of a respected artist if I get paid and give a low quality art back. I've only started drawing like this for about 6 months, I don't have very much art experience to start jumping the gun. Maybe I'm being to professional about it you know? Art for me and making music is only a hobby to me, I shouldn't make a job out of it probably.
You might tell me: You draw very well. I may, but most of my art I do have no time constraints or any expectations.
I've done an art gift for a friend once and it was difficult. I redrew my art because it was so small! And with the lack of reference sheet, it was extra hard to get what I wanted but I reckoned it turned out nice in the end, though even though there was no time constraints, there was an expectation which I failed to meet, so I redid the art. The problem was the resolution was too small.
Since there was a hiatus on my account from any art, I haven't done any art in awhile and when going back to it, I was really rusty but I've got it all back today and I'm drawing good in my opinion.
I think right now I should do free art with my friends only so I can get a bit more experience so that I'm more comfortable potentially doing commissions, but right now I'm probably sticking to free art with friends. Though, I may one day open up a slot for free art for anyone who wants art drawn.
Sorry if this is a lot to read.
You don't think that yourself doesn't have any potential. You have man. I hope you can be a good artist on the future! Good luck
I meant to say:
Thanks for the help and support, I appreciate it! I think I'll do that.
