I am having a really, really hard time. I don't know what else to do to make myself feel a little bit better, so I've decided I want a sketch commission, with color. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, just clear enough to see the characters and color because I like color. I'm looking for someone who can draw babies, as I'd like my sona and my son's sona drawn together in a cute, cuddly picture.

A flat colored image will run you $50 though, I know her prices turn some people away (even though I think they're worth it).

GrungeCandy is doing color pop commissions for $25 though that's probably not the style you're looking for.
Mutt_mutt has really cheap fullbody stuff, but has a very distinct style (maybe also not what you are seeking)
Gaz-Monster has really adorable pencil sketches which they will line and color, or you can color them in if you prefer. That's what I'm doing with mine.
JaciMae has reasonable sketches, and is doing a tarot card deck that is not filled yet!

I did that at the end of last year so I've improved a bit. :) I have more examples in my gallery and I'm relatively quick with stuff!
