Help me get my truck back
I've been unemployed since July of 2014. While I have been able to survive through food stamps and some generous friends, other needs have gone unmet. One of these was my truck insurance. On Saturday, June 13, 2015, I was stopped by the police and being I have no insurance they couldn't let me drive it, and they impounded it.
Any money raised will go to getting the required documentation to get the truck out of impound and paying the impound fees.
The base goal is $3,000 for the above. A stretch goal of $5,000 will do the above plus pay some other outstanding bills, like cell phone, electric and internet provider. A double stretch of $7,500 will do all of the above, plus allow me some breathing room until I can get a new job.
Please donate what you can and help spread the word, as there is very limited public transportation where I live and a personal vehicle is almost a requirement.

I just received a letter from the police department that impounded my truck. The letter states that if I don't "claim" the vehicle in 30 days; i.e. July 13th, then the police department >WILL< apply for a "Junk Title of Ownership" as permitted by NJ state law.
So time is against me even more, with this threat and mounting storage fee costs!
