Final Fantasy VII Remake & Suikoden III
So I'm pretty excited that Final Fantasy VII is finally getting the remake it deserves. Truth is, it's not my favorite in the series but it was pretty good. Keep in mind that this is not an HD Remaster but an actual Remake. That said, looks like Yuffie and Vincent may finally be a part of the ending, alongside the original intention to have Aerith resurrected or even connect the events of Before Crisis/Crisis Core and Advent Children into the game. Who knows what may happen. The original port is still coming out on PS4 by the end of this year, so I would highly recommend picking it up and playing it once more so you can refresh yourself with the story if you haven't done so already, cause from the look of this game, it's going to be completely different from what you may remember or experience. I will say this though, this opens the doors to other games that never thought would see the light of day of a remake or a resurgence of source... here's hoping for that Suikoden VI we've all been waiting for. On another note, the best part about this announcement is that there is a strong possibility of other Final Fantasy titles to be remade seeing as the director of the upcoming remake is interested in possibly getting FFV and FFVI with a graphical update too. Now Final Fantasy VI, that right there... I can most definitely get behind. For now, I'll leave you with this awesome teaser of the Remake and a quick click of the crowds loud cheer and reaction about this years Sony E3 Conference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ4_t_GqGAM
Speaking of surprises, Ladies and Gentleman, we are officially getting Suikoden III. It comes out this Tuesday on the PSN. Now this is a fantastic game and ties in nicely with the first two games that have come out recently. If I recall correctly, this title has been really hard to come by and I believe the EU folks have yet to legally have the chance to play it, so here's hoping they'll be snagging it next once it appears over there soon. It's the first 3D entry into the series, and one that had a Manga that released in the US as well. For lovers of JRPG, I highly recommend this series (and I suggest you play them in order to truly enjoy the references and the lore of the world that is Suikoden,) Be sure to follow the Suikoden Revival Movement for more news and events as well as Suikosource for everything Suikoden. At the rate we're going, we'll be able to campaign to release the remaining entry's into the series in no time. Just remember, that if we really want that Suikoden VI, we need to speak with our wallets and not with our demands on social media. If there is an interest in this series, we must prove it, so let's not let this awesome series die. We may very well get the game we've all been wanting if we keep at it. Don't believe me? Just look at Shenmue III, The Last Guardian, and Final Fantasy VII Remake announcements on E3. Last time, I checked any of those would happen, we'd surely be at the end of times lol, best part is, we're still here LoL so let's do this. ^_^ I leave you with a very rare trailer that came out in Japan of the third game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uykPHp3TiRo
