Those of you I have met in the fandom know me as a pretty level headed person.
I'm an Greymuzzle who has seen a lot of life, brings reassurance to those needing it, and someone that a lot of you go to for sound advice. It's a role in the fandom that I am happy to perform.
I am also someone who does not rant in a post, until now.

This bear is pissed. VERY PISSED, and I'm prepared to bring down the wrath of Fu Manchu.

My best furriend in the fandom has cancelled going to Anthrocon with me.
Those of you who know me from previous cons, know who that person is.
(Just look at my Anthrocon Meme for a good hint)

Why? Because of drama and bullying by other furs this week.
I shall explain as best I understand from the information given to me.

She has a strict policy of no yiffy art with her character.
Someone has taken exception and has abused her online for not allowing him to have yiffy art of his character with hers.
He has also told her that he expects to have sex with her while at Anthrocon.
Excuse me, what makes you so special to expect sex from someone? What even gives you the right? GROW UP!!
She has told him repeatedly the answer is no and to leave her alone.
Apparently he has harrased other female furs in a similar manner.
What is even worse, apparently his girlfriend is sticking up for him.

A different fur had adopted himself to her as her "furry son", and has plied her with gifts and art.
Apparently there were words yesterday, I don't know the details, he unadopted himself and wants to be reimbursed for his gifts to the tune of $550. Before Anthrocon..
Really??
These were gifts, not a loan to be paid back, given without being asked for. Even Judge Judy would agree with me.
How would you feel if someone gave you something, and then wanted to be reimbursed for it?
He too, is attending Anthrocon, along with his sister, and apparently are planning on harrassing my furriend about it if she doesn't pay up.
I've seen screen caps of the messages.
A classic case of BULLYING.

Those of you who really want to see my furriend at Anthrocon won't be able to see her.
Because of the stupid drama and bullying I'm seeing lately in the fandom.

And my best furriend will be sitting at home instead of having fun at Anthrocon with you and me.

I'm prepared to stand with my furriend and between her and these low life.
If you were to see these furs, would you stand up for your furriend?
Would you help me stand up for my furriend?
Please show her your support and that she has friends who care. Send her a note, a shout, a text message. Let her know!!

As of this week, I have two other furriends who have also been subject to drama and bullying.
Really?? Seriously??
One has gone offline to escape, the other has no choice as the fandom is her only source of income from the sales of her products.

I know of other female furs who have dealt with similar online sexual harassment, to the point that they have deleted their accounts.

THIS HAS GOT TO STAHP!!
