I do agree with you on that grandson. But in his case it was not hearing and thinking folks would take pity on him and then send him wishes was what he was trying to keep from happening, but the thing he over looked is that most of his friends out side of Australia are a day behind him and therefore would be wishing him a happy birthday when it is the 31st for them and not when it was for him. So he is making himself feel worst by not letting the furs he know wish him a happy birthday because the are in a different time zone than him. He makes himself feel far worst by doing this.
