Congrats America! LGBT Rights move forward once again!

Fantastic! The Supreme Court ruled that gay marriage is LEGAL in ALL 50 States of the United States of America.
Progress! Love! Support! I want to give a huge shoutout to all of my LGBT friends that can get or will be married soon, that I am very happy for you. And it makes me look forward to certain events in my life that I am patiently approaching myself.
I want to give another Shout Out to the Supreme Court, for recognizing that as humans we have the right to love, and that denying legal contracts to those that love each other that want them is an inhumane privilege.
Let's watch the Religious Right squirm as they react to this.

I'm really happy that the US has taken a huge step forward towards equality.

I wonder if this means that states that did not previously allow gay marriage no longer have the choice. I know for a long time it was a 'states rights' issue.

OP
They do not, and if you are refused your right to marry you can challenge it.

I wonder because I live in Texas and while Texas has a lot of points in its favor being pro gay marriage or just marriage now isn't probably one of them.

OP
It's not. Texas is vowing to challenge the courts.

I'm not surprised.
