Most of us are very happy with today's news, and rightly so, it is a really good victory for gay rights. I only send some words of caution for the future: This is not over. Don't forget that in 29 states you can still get fired just for being gay. There are still protections that are lacking in these states that will need to be worked on. Also, we can not forget about the T in LGBT. The trans community is still fighting for the most basic acceptance and there is still widespread discrimination and even violence against trans people, especially trans people of color. While this is a great victory, the worst thing we could do right now is be complacent and think this is now all over and that everything is all good now.
