I didn't even know about this going to the Supreme Court until this morning. The news just became so depressing, and in some cases repetitive that I stopped watching it all together. This is really unbelievable. WHOOP WHOOP!!!!

yeah i found out this morning as well. Hope all my American buddies enjoy it, it's so stupid that there are people willing to deny the others equal right XD. What is funny though are Americans who are against Gay marriage say they want to move up here to Canada.... we had nation wide Gay Marriage a decade ago

When those who(in power or are so dug in their ideological trenches )refuse to progress with the times, they damn us all. Today showed that even they could be politically bowled over. Now I'm aware that they'll do everything try and get this overturned. I believe they have two weeks to do something. But if they are wise(which I know they won't), they'll keep their collective trap shut... Yeah and pigs will sprout wings and fly LOL!!!

Things will be a bit different here that's fur sure..
I don't mind it at all... But there is one thing that I will never understand..
Same sex marriage can be done at a court house and things like that...that's great..
But we have been having issues with people getting the church involved... Now why would gay couples do that ?? If they do not live by the bible why are they trying to get married by the bibles way using the church ??
That's when I get a little annoyed..

to be fair many people are devout to their religion, just because they're gay doesn't mean they don't adhere to their religion. Many still want their religion to play a part in their lives and in this case the bible and church are necessary to their religion, just cuz you are gay doesn't mean u can't live your life by the bible (excluding the obvious fact everyone is arguing by)

But we still have to try are best to line up with the word of God for those of us who believe...for example
It would not matter if I was gay, or straight, or bi , pan or any other combination in between
Because I live my life by the bible. If my Lord says no, than it's a no . And if my Lord says yes, then it's a yes. I really love my savior to the point where I would deny my flesh in order for Him to work in my life.. now I'm not perfect at it but I'm working at it..I believe my Lord gave everything he had for me to know him and be saved from darkness... And the fact that there is nothing about me that should move Him to love me as his own....
This is why in Christian.

Now don't get it wrong.. my Lord is an absolute lover and he has an endless amount of grace for all of mankind..
And I didn't say that gays cannot go to church and praise and listen to some good preaching, or help out in ministry. They can absolutely have church a big part of there lives... But all I'm saying is that the church can't marry same-sex couples.
Church can still be a big part of there lives... But they will have to be married by the court..
Us as the church don't have the right by God to do the same-sex marriage.. only male and female

I don't understand if it's such a sin why did God make us gay?

God did not make anyone gay at all ... Sin is the reason why things are not like it's supposed to be... One man decided to reject God's gorly and likeness...
Namely Adam which allowed sin to enter into the world... Because of this we are all born into sin no matter what sin it is there is no way to be right as a human being...
But like wise Jesus came to restore man ..... To make this short and sweet because I don't want to bore you to long XD .. Jesus paid the price of the sin of the world . Therefore if anyone confess HIM as there Lord and savior and ask for forgiveness of sins there sins are forgiven and remembered no longer....plus you get to go to heaven.
Or at least that's what I believe anyway..
