Did you have a problem with an artist you commissioned? I really don't understand why you would go to such extreme lengths otherwise. o.o

You could kind of say that. This is meant more as a deterrent for any would be artist that thinks they own all the rights to a drawing they worked on. While I acknowledge both parties should indeed have rights. I have seen some fairly extreme demands from artists. This is meant to say "Hey you aren't allowed to do that to do just whatever or say whatever about something I'm paying you to do." I tried to make this balanced for both parties. For example the artist may not use this in a for profit activity without contacting the commissioner. But at the very same time the commissioner can not use the personal art in a for profit activity without an agreement and terms with the artist. Both can how ever use the art on personal sites and both can use it in pretty much any non profit activity.
