But such is life.

I was once the only person who had a credit card in a room with seven people. It happens. I'm honestly not that surprised. Most furries are broke as hell and irresponsible enough that they would've brought themselves to utter ruin within days if they ever had access to a line of credit.

Though your sympathies are of little monetary value, it's still nice to get a holla back to my 'amirite?' when I'm talking about how fucking furries are physically incapable of getting their shit together.

It's like a guarantee you plan a room and people bail. We had someone bail on our room, my mate had ALL of his original roomies bail, thankfully all within a timeframe where they could find replacements but still. Id personally never bail short of a medical emergency. If I committed monetarily I'm in and that's it. If I haven't bought a pass yet or paid a hotel share im more likely to be in the "maybe" category until I put some real cash down. I've only ever backed out of one convention Id paid for and that was due to medical reasons. It's true tho, furries are broke as shit lol. I only know of a couple who are good with handling money. Myself probably included. I at least try and keep my bank account well above 0$ just in case anything happens. And I'm trying to establish a line of credit, while everyone else just uses their debit card as a catch all and freak the pluck out when I tell them about hotel holds. Like, we're adults guys. Do your research. And I required a nonrefundable deposit last AC when I did the room and no one dared bail on me. And if they had I would have shown no mercy and gleefully kept their money no matter how much they begged and pleaded.
