I mean...you are in a pinch money wise. You don't even give details as to why its an emergency.
I get sick of seeing people just post EMERGENCY on anything that isn't one.
Though others might interpret it the same way I did at first.
These are just one person's opinions and best of luck to you.
Is this not important?
Not everyone likes putting their personal life reasons down as to why, not everyone is ready to say they have health issues or need medication, not all people like having to use it as a reason to get attention.
There are fake journals out there, but there is a way to spot the difference, learn it.
I've found artists that use their illness as an excuse just want free money.
Britzkey does nothing but work hard, she puts all of her effort into her art, she never uses her health or medical problems as a reason to not do work.
What if it was serious?
What if she needs the money to pay this months rent?
By saying you don't see it as an "emergency" is the same as saying you don't care if she misses rent and ends up on the streets.
Just because you don't know a full story doesn't mean anything, not all personal problems can be put out for the public.
And as she said above, she didn't want to say because she knew someone she looked up to and has high respect for would see, and be disappointed in her, and having someone you have always looked up to be disappointed in you is more painful then a stab in the chest.
This could have been avoided if you just kept moving along, delete the journals from your inbox.
If you don't like it, don't click it, don't look at it.
Its simple fucking logic.
If you see someone post boost emergency commission journals, just ignore it.
Ignore it if all you are going to do is stomp on them.
She doesn't owe you an explanation if you don't intend on helping.
If you wanted to buy something, but wanted to know why she was in a pinch, you could have privately noted her asking, rather then publicly stomping on her.
A lot of people in today's world have money issues, things have become too expensive to afford, especially healthcare in America.
I was charged $1600 just to have my hand stitched, and let me tell you I couldn't afford it, they demanded $600 in one bulk pay the following week and all I had was $20 in my wallet and no job.
I hope you think on this before commenting on someone else's emergency journal.
Its silly because after she said what her causes were I was about to comment back on what i said, and agree she was in an unfortunate situation which COULD be classified as an emergency. Then I went underground on train and had to wait for service. Anyways.....
Its just that you guys are her friends so its natural you would go all out trying to put me in my place. So good on you guys. I ain't mad.
But damn that escalated quickly while I was underground.
I still stand by the word being thrown around way too much.
While this particular situation is real there are some (like me)
That won't take the time to contact the person privately when they see minimal info posted but emblazoned with that EMERGENCY title.
Best of luck in making up your losses OP.
Life is tough for all not just some. And in most hospitalization (oh god those bastards) cases you can see a financial councilor and often get your bill cut back to practically half if not nothing.
It doesn't matter if she were my friend or not. Seeing someone make a smartass comment to demean or question someones worth isn't something I'm going to stand idly by and do nothing about. "How do i even know this is an emergency?" You're full of it. You don't even follow her or see the work she does but you comment to do what? Make her feel better. You're a saint. "I ain't mad at ya."
"While this particular situation is real there are some (like me)
That won't take the time to contact the person privately when they see minimal info posted but emblazoned with that EMERGENCY title." If that's the case then why bother saying anything. It literally makes you look like an asshole. You're attacking or in your case "stating your opinion" for no reason.
"Life is tough for all not just some. And in most hospitalization (oh god those bastards) cases you can see a financial councilor and often get your bill cut back to practically half if not nothing. " How is this even remotely helpful? You don't think she hasn't already tried those methods. You really have no clue how you sound do you? lol
If you responded with "Oh I see what you're saying, best of luck to you" Would have been efficient enough. Now it just looks like you're trying to cover your ass.
You can stand by the word being thrown around alot. I feel the exact same, So I DON'T COMMENT ON THOSE JOURNALS LIKE SOME SELF RIGHTEOUS JACKASS. Like it's really that simple. If you we're truly going to stand your ground then say that. Clarify what you mean and move along but now you're backpedaling. Why would you do that if you feel valid in your feelings?
TLDR: Get over yourself. If you weren't going to help or contribute constructively then get lost. You don't need to put your 2 cents everywhere trying to have the last word. You can miss me with that bullshit.
Like just because i didn't phrase it a certain way for you, you still view it as attacking? You're high strung and want a debate.
Fin'
Like just because i didn't phrase it a certain way for you, you still view it as being high strung and wanting a debate? Move on. You're still not helping here.
