The people at earth watched as their first collision probe streaked towards the planet. "With this, we'll finally see what Pluto is made out of."

The probe beeped until it crashed into the planet.

The probe, which was padded with airbags, bounced a few time before settling. The bags deflated and a rover came out. It was crawling with all sorts of instruments it measured everything from atmosphere content to zelta wave radiation.

"Somethings moving about about on me, is it life? It must be. That is so cool. Can you see it Charon?"

Charon moved around Pluto, trying to find it. "Hmmm, oh! There it is. Aw, adorable." Charon said, spotting the little rover moving around on the surface. "It looks like it might be alive, it's moving around."

"I think that that radiation its emitting is it talking. I don't know who to. There's no one put us a few tiny rocks for a billion miles. I'll try talking to it." Said pluto.

Pluto then shifted around some of the trace metals in it core to make a radio transmitter (plutos brain analog is hundreds of miles across and so pluto, and charon too is really really really smart although ignorant of nearly everything due to be billions of miles from everything). He started with a simple beep beep beep and then moved on to more complex patterns hoping to get the rovers attention.

Back on earth, people were freaking out about the radio signals they were receiving. After a while, they decided it must have been materials in the core being unusual, and probably sent out these radio signals because of some chemical reaction, but still they moved the rover closer to where the signals were coming from.

Pluto felt the rover getting closer. It was working. But he still had no understanding of what was being said. He tried something else, he he made a copy of the rover and had is extruded in front of it. He also popped out a selection of geometric shapes made out of various materials, it it has language he learn it with those using those.

Charon watched with interest. "Ooh, I hope we can be friends~" it said.

On earth, scientists were now going crazy trying to figure out what was going on. It seemed likely that some life form was trying to communicate with the probe! They started working on a way to communicate back. They had the rover use a laser to shine on each shape, saying the name of the shape using the radio frequency the planet was communicating with.

By creating more and more different types of and arranging them in sets he could move on to discribing adjectives like bigger, hard, soft shiny etc. etc. With a bit more practice directions were learnt too. By quickly changing his surface pluto could move on to explaining nouns and adverbs too. He also developed ways to say the more abstract words that can't be shown with an object or a movement, woulds like yes and no, who, what why etc. etc.

Inside the rover a computer more powerful then the combined processing power of most countries was organising the data, analysizing it. It was learning. Something new was being built up. Something wonderful.

"Ah! We lost connection with the rover!" Someone complained on earth. The reason was that Pluto had managed to bring the rover to sentience! No longer sending out radio waves, the rover looked around its new home on Pluto.

Now that the rover wasn't waiting for the signals to get to earth and back it was learning a lot faster then before. It was still going to talk to earth, they were its parents after all but not constantly it would send a burst of data every now and then instead. The rovers new awaked mind was frustrated by the slow and clumsy nature of the communication with pluto. It began to try sending data directly via radiowaves. It would beam images, sound and other data straight at pluto.

Charon waited for his turn.

The rover grew smarter and smarter as time went on. After a while, it made contact with Charon and began to talk to him as well. It learned to carry on a conversation with both of them at the same time, and soon enough, the three of them were friends.

Pluto and Charon then invited their mutual moons over. There was the bludged out nix and hydra, how span around so fast they were far more across east to west then north to south. Kerboros was a bit smaller and was sphere shaped. Tiny styx also turned up.

"Is that all of them" asks they probe telling pluto watch there names on earth were.

"Yes." Charon responded, "Unless we have moons that are too far out for us to know about, of course."

Styx floated over to look at the rover. "Oh wow, it's sooooo cute~"

"Can, it go on me, pleeeease" begged Stynx

Pluto then made some rocket boosters to attach to the rover so it could blast over. Since the rover was a robot it could go a lot faster then a rocket with humans in it could and it got over in just a few minutes.

The planet and his many moons were already very fond of the little rover, especially since, like them, it was made out of minerals and metals. Though, considering how friendly the group of celestial bodies was normally, it wasn't too big of a surprise how much they liked their new friend.

The rover was enjoying its new friends too, especially since they kept giving it gifts, making it slowly into a bigger and bigger robot.

Before the probe was sent to the surface a satalite was sent in orbit around pluto. It too was learning fast. One of the moons, frustrated that the rover was on another heavenly body noticed this satalite.

The moon, Nix, moved over to it, and attempted to pull the sattelite into her orbit. "C'mon over heeere~" She whispered to herself.

She caught it, she looked around hoping no one noticed. She wanted this robot friend all to herself.

Like the other celestial bodies were doing with the rover, she began to give her little robot friend gifts, making it a larger and larger sattelite.

Mean while on earth the people at NASA had got the latest message from the rover confirming that all the planets and moon around here were alive. It also gave a primer on how to talk to planets.

The people on earth were very interested in this new info, and began to attempt to send their own messages from earth to pluto.

Pluto, Charon and moons received the message and by talking to the rover soon learned that earth had billions of potential friends. Using the rovers knowledge of rocket science the built a fusion drive to make their way to earth. Even this this pluto was so far from earth that it would take weeks to get there.

The rover and sattelite, having grown quite a bit from all the gifts given to them, had their own ideas. Asteroids passing by looked like they were made of the same stuff as their friends, the planets, and decided to try to give the asteroids to the planets as a gift~

They started off with a mickey mouse head shaped asteriod which was about 500ft across, about twice as big as they were. The satalite orbitted around finding out everything about its mass density and composition. Using this information it told the rover exactly where to crash into.

The rover smashed into the asteriod breaking it into 6 big pieces and a cloud of cosmic dust. The rover collected all this dust with a magnet (he'd magnetised the asteriod on impact). It grew a couple of feet bigger using this dust. The 6 big pieces went towards the planets and moons. They each got one. They made craters that were miles across. In styx's case the crater cover a whole half of it. They then reformed, just a little bit bigger then before. Something that wouldn't be visible to the naked eye, but easily detectable to the most advanced instruments in the solar system.

They'd allready seen a few much bigger asteriods to give to them next. But first they would she how they liked these ones.

At first, the planets and moons were confused by what seemed at first to be hostile behavior from their new friends, until they realized what was happening, and that they were in fact being given a gift, making them all grow slightly larger in size.

Ecstatic about the new size, the celestial bodies decided to reward their friends, each of them giving many gifts to the two robots, until the two of them had grown massively!

The two robots didn't just gain size, but new ablities too. The rover gained the ability to split himself into thousands of smaller copies of himself which where combined into a perfect and instanteous hive mind. The Satalite having learnt all about gravity from observing the giant quickly moving and growing heavenly bodies could now make a gravity and antigravity lazer.

With these new powers they could gather load and loads of asteriods for the planetary friends. Whilst doing this they constantly broadcasted a signal so they could see if any of the thingys they found were also alive. They wouldn't want to get anything that is alive eaten after all.

Back on earth all the most powerful transmitter that could be found were sending out a message on the planet talking freqency hoping for a responce.

The planets began to grow in size as they were given their offerings. Larger and larger they swelled, before long, all of them had doubled in size. The celestial bodies were incredibly happy with their new friends, and continued to give them gifts. Before long, the two robots were larger than a hundred miles each, the planets still much larger than them, of course.

Meanwhile, one of the asteroids they picked up responded, showing signs of life.


The humans were shocked by the responses from the planets, which included, thanks to the robots teaching them about visual data, photos of the rover and sattelite, now titanic robots!

The Satalite sent the asteriod which was only a mile across in orbit around itself as they started to talk. They learnt that asteriod was a chunk of planet from an entirely different star system. This planet was blown up as a side effect of every living being on it being turned into immortal beings of pure energy.

The asteriod missed having life on it and ask that if they found any life on or in the the moons, asteriods and planets they encountered that he could have a sample of it. It would be nice to have a sentient species evolve on him again.

The planet welcoming signal continued to bounces around the whole solar system, as well as pluto and friends it hit all eight planets all of their moons, all the asteriods, billions of objects in the kuiper belt and oort cloud (although it would take months to get to the furthest ones as at least distances even light it slow), all the comets and even the sun itself.

The sun was super surprised to find out that there was life in its solar system, and puffed out larger in excitement. The moon was extremely happy to finally be able to talk to her friends on earth, and the earth was confused by the signals, since they seemed to be coming from really close by, and managed to think they were moon people in her confusion.

Neptune, Uranus, and Jupiter got together to discuss the new facts, about the tiny life living in their solar system, while Saturn just moved towards the earth to have a look, along with the other inner planets.

The Satalite knew that moving giant planets around could do a lot of damage to the earth and so it told satern that the being on the earth were very very smaller and delicate. It told saturn how to bend it gravity so that it would knock the earth out of orbit or cause earthquakes or huge tides.

Saturn drew closer to earth and soon filled upa quater of the sky. Its smaller moons looked all around the planet whilst it. Titan and bigger moons spread around and kept and watch on the small moons bending their gravity to make sure none of the small moons hit the earth or its moon, or each other.

Pluto and co gently spiral inwards to ward the earth. The robots picked up whatever rocks they would find on their ware and gifed them to pluto and its moons. Pluto has now proper planet sized and as big as mars.

Pluto and company were a bit too grateful, as soon the rover and sattelite had grown even bigger than the planets, the rover now twice pluto's size, even as they continue to grow the planets.

Jupiter and co spotted the outer planets moving closer, and decided to join them when they headed together towards earth.

Whilst the rover kept most of himself going towards the earth in dispatched a few million city sized mini me's to edges of the solar system to pick up the asteriods etc. etc. they hadn't picked up yet.

Jupiter loomed over them. The robot had long way to go to make their friends the biggest planets in the solar system.

Still, it wasn't like Jupiter was at all mean. Jupiter in fact seemed really friendly. "Wow, you guys come from the outer reaches of the solar system? That's SO cool." He said, moving around in excitement.

The planets continued to grow from their gifts from the rover, and soon Pluto was already bigger than earth.

The international Astronomy society had an an emergency meet and declared pluto and charon to be planets again. They when checked the lists of all the smartest people on earth to find an Ambassador each for ever one of Major planets, moons etc.

Meanwhile could in the Kuiper belt and scattered disk the various copies of the rover were starting to run out of stuff to collect. They estimated they'd already collected more then 2/3rds of mass out there wasn't already alive. There would be would more mass in the main asteriod belt a spread around the solar system but that would barely add up to what he'd already found. The big planets and captured most of the mass billions of years ago. The rover upgraded it computers to godlike levels it would have to think of something a bit more creative then rock collecting.

It took a bit of thinking, but eventually the rover came up with a technology that allowed it to gather the unused matter in space, space dust, free-floating molecules, etc, and combine them into large balls of mass.

The rover got his mini mes to get to work using that technology. It was gathering up city sized lumps of matter and then siding them towards pluto charon and there moons. Pluto was now twice the mass of the earth, charon had caught up with earth's mass and each of the moons had twice the diameter of the earths moon, they had decided earily that they should all be the same size.

As the group past by mars the robots noticed there were a lot of their fellow robots on this planet. There was the viking landers, spirt and opportunity and curiosity, along with several others. The rover noticed that the beagle 2 stationary science station was actually alive put had broke it antenna and so couldn't talk to anyone. The rover fixed that. When the rover tried to talk to the probe it discovered that its insanity was not completely intact after a decade and a half of isolation. Whilst the robot was affable and even charming it had become convinced that...

It was designed to be a space station, big enough to move the earth's people onto it. There was no way this tiny probe had ever been designed that way, but that's what it insisted.

Jupiter who had always been secretly jealous of all of earths lifeforms decides to grow beagle II to city sized so it could carry show some of the humans around Jupiters insides. He'd had all sorts of cool things fall into him over the years and wants to she what the humans would think of them.

The beagle 2 immediately took the opportunity to show the humans the inside of Jupiter, which until then had been a great mystery. It wasn't long before Jupiter began hearing lots of praise from the people of earth as they looked around the massive planet in awe.

Saturn also wanted to to show off what was happening inside of her. One of Saturns smaller moons (which no one knew about until then), only about 10 miles across was transformed into a dragon with lots of hollows for humans to move into. It flew over to cardiff (because it had a dragon on its flag) and absorbed the whole city into itself it was then wrapped around the inside. The sun seperated off a car sized bit of himself to light up the inside of the dragon-planet-spaceship-moon thing.

The wonderful teamwork by the solar system there, done in such a way that everyone worked just for the little saturn moon was so wonderful that as Saturn watched, the feelings building up inside her were too strong, and she started to grow, quickly.

The dragon moon swelled on and on. Miles were added to its length every second. Starting off a ten miles tall in a minute it was a hundred miles tall, covering almost all of wales. In a another minutes it was a thousands miles tall. It had no claw on scotland, on and england and one on Ireland. The 4th claw was in the atlantic ocean, making friends with all the sea creatures. Every city that the dragon stepped on it absorbed, it now had dozens of cities. It grew roads between all the cities and budded off thousands of more traditionally sizeds dragons to transport people around its growing insides. It grew countryside in the gaps between the cities filling it with forests, rivers, lakes, mountains and valleys.

The dragon saw all the other cities of the earth, it was tempted to collect all of them too but realised that would be greedy. It flew off the earth, which is then outgrew. Not wanting to outgrow and lose all its planet friends the dragon paused its growth.

The rover and satelitte scaned the dragon moon with science thousands of years in advance of what they were built with. It discovered the secret of its growth.

The rover and sattelite had no reason not to grow, once they found this out, so they immediately began to use the new secrets they had learned to grow massively, the rover so large that it soon was bigger than any of the planets other than the dragon moon, and the same happened to the sattelite!

Pluto and Charon set themselves to orbit around the hugenormous robots. Impressed they asked them how they got so big, and it they could tell them their secret.

(I think this growth may be too fast, we'll quickly run out of things to outgrow at this rate)

The two robots wanted to respond, but at the same time, they couldn't help but think how cute the planets looked. They decided to keep the secret for now.

Meanwhile beagle 2 continued to travel deeper and deeper into jupiters cores. They pasted by hundreds of rocky comets that were floating on a sea of metalic hydrogen. There were pockets of liquid water in there, manyI of them larger then the largest oceans on earth, beagle ponders what sort of life could be made that could live in them.

In the very very centre they found a chunk of very very dense matter. It was a a chunk of a white dwarf.

"Hello there" said the thing in every possible language at once.

"Hi there," replied beagle 2 in english which was used from then on. "So your alive too, what are you"

"I'm part of the star that blew up about 5 billion years ago, making the gases that made this places sun. When I went nova I got blown off the core by the infathomable forces. I top a brief nap when the sun got started, when I woke up a planet and formed around me. I so big that nobody could hear be in here. I was getting bit bored in here. I'd been passing the time by playing Hallows and Hugreyments with my self, I spilt by personality into 6 so I'd have someone to play with. Anyway, Hi."

Jupiter has pleasantly surprised to to discover their was part of a ten billion of or year old being hiding in this core. He felt bad about ignoring it for all those years and dedicate to immediately get it out. However the white dwarf start, whilst even smaller then the earth was very very dense and far you heavy for it to move.

Jupiter then asked all the other planets, and the sun, for help with this.

The dragon Moon, being both the biggest, it was so huge that its body was as wide as the sun, and much longer and having arms reached in and pulled out the white dwarf chunk.

With the dragon moon being huge and White dwarf chunk massive they could share more information then the whole internet every single nanosecond. Soon they thought of the plan.

With a flash of light the White Dwarf Chunk turned back into a sun.

"Hi dad" said the the sun to the new sun and showed it all the solar system.

The white dwarf, now a small sun, found that it had a lot to talk about with the large sun that still was larger than anything else in the solar system. During the discussion, the man-made objects, the sattelites and rovers, were continuing to grow larger.

On Mars, Curiosity looked up at the huge objects, and wanted to join them. Mars was always very fond of its rovers, so it decided to start helping Curiosity get bigger.

Mars decided that even all of his mass put together wouldn't make the rover big enough. He decided to get some help, big help.

He decided to call up his friend from back when he took part in the planet exchange program. Back then he had orbited around Canis Major a star 1420 times, nearly two BILLION km as far across as the sun. He had plenty of mass to spare, heck it he lost a few solar masses here and there he'd live longer. He owed him a favour after he helped him position some planets in an orbit were life would later evolve.

He quickly brought Canis up to date with everything that happen. Canis was excited by what was happening, the life orbiting him was so tiny compared to him all he could do was watch them, he asked that he recommend that all the robots visit some time, he had several planets he wanted to show off.

Canis zapped mars with power causing it to swell to the size of saturn, he also made clear there was plenty more where that came from. The newly enlarged mars Pumped up Curiosity with more and more mass, it swelled tremodously.

Curiosity had always been into the idea of giant robots, thanks to its goofy personality, so as it grew it shaped itself into a more bipedal stance. Like the other constructs, it felt nothing but love for its creators, but also had a strong bond with Mars, and soon it used its new arms to hug the large surface under it!

With all the mass that Mars was giving to Curiosity it was starting to shrink rapidly. The rover tried to grow his friend back but Mars would not allow the rover to shrink itself and the extra mass just bounced off.

The rover and the Satalite saw this problem and so taught Curiosity how to grow itself unlimitedly like they did. To reassure mars that it how had infinite mass to share curisosity insantly surged up in size until it caught up with the other two. The saturn sized mars now was tennis ball sized to the mech.

Wanting its best friend to be able to grow with itself the mech decided to share the secret of growth with mars.

Mars figured the Curiosity would what to hang out with a friend that was about its size. Mars began to surge up in size, he a single trust of growth it reached the size of jupiter and then overtook with the next it. In just a few more bursts mars was now as massive as Curiosity and the other robots were.

Mars saw how the dragon moon and curiosity had also changed shape and decided to do that too. It then then transformed it self into a stellar sized dolphin. He swam over to curiosity and let it ride on him.

"Nice transformation" compilmented Curiosity "so you can change into any shape now?"

"I think so, I've only tried it once" said Mars

"Yep, me too?" agreed Curiosity

Curiosity then rode Mars around the solar system. They soon past earth, which was smaller then one of the dolphin's eyes. Mars winked at curiosity, he had an idea.

"Hello, their earth people. We've got no idea what to turn into next, so give us some ideas. However comes up with the most fun idea I'll grow to our size as whatever shape they want, they can stay that big for a whole day!!!" Anounced Mars.
