No stream tonight, here's why (Addendum)
10 years ago
So I've not done streams on Monday for several reasons and only now realized, oops, I should explain why that is, shouldn't I?
For those that don't know, I have Monday set aside to exclusively work on the much larger "standard" commissions (also on Wednesdays, but that alternates) that include things like color and multiple characters and Fridays for the much smaller and quicker sketch streams which are single full-bodied characters. Now initially I had hoped to stream on Mondays as well, but a few snags have hit me along the way:
1) These past few Mondays have had me a lot busier than expected in RL, usually for random reasons that aren't part of my usual schedule and, thus, hard to plan for.
2) While I can't well explain what has changed since I've done these in the past, I have found as of late I've not been able to concentrate as well as I have on keeping good quality on these while I'm streaming. To make up for that, I'm open to offer up WIPs to those commissioners whose work I'm currently working on while once I'm at a good progress point.
3) A very recent (as of today) snafu just arised -- namely, my driver has been giving me more and more issues as of late. Because of that, I'm hesitant to stream today until I feel more confident it won't die on me while I'm working or something (this may well kill the Friday stream as well if it proves to be unfixable).
So that's the gist of it. I am trying to save up cash for a new laptop (have my eyes set on a Surface 3 or similar, but I'm open to suggestions), but until then...yup.
EDIT: Forgot to say. I'm especially active on Twitter (@ NTBKompy) and especialy open to questions and whatnot on Mondays while I draw! Just saying~!

2, this is pretty high end and shouldn't be giving you shitz unless a setting or two is poorly set or other kinds of simple errors.
Let's see;
What's your current, and if applicable, most used resolution, e.x. 1920X1080 1080pi 32-bit Color Depth.
What is your display. OR Is the display/computer, a laptop.
What is your CPU and your PCI Controller. If your not sure of your PCI then try running "dxdiag" (in the run thing) (if your OS is too new to have a "Run" Open the task manager and it's under the File tab, it may say, "Start new task.) (If your OS is so new that the task manager is hard to find, hit Ctrl+Alt+Del (windows, if you have a Mac, I'd be no help) )
Once running, check the box for "Check for WSQL Signatures" (if it did not already ask you that when DxDiag Started)
Click the button at the bottom, "Save All Information" It will then save a .txt log of all of your computers information, and some DirectX Stats. The PCI Controller sould be named there, of not, no biggy. (It should save the .txt automatcally to your desktop, if it doesn't ask you where. If it didn't and it's not on your desktop, check your documents page and elsewhere)
Also, is it giving you problems doing simple things? Like web surfing, typing documents, playing solitare, checking up on your latest internet pr0ns, etc. If it's that bad, then it'd be pretty lucky to be fixable, but if it's usually only with screen captures and HD arts, games (?), then a lot of direct possibilities come to mind.
Also, does your art Tablet have a screen on it? Actually, I had just wanted to know because I'm curious, but now that I think of it, your Display Driver may actually be doing twice the work if ti does have one. This all depends on the driver of your tablet. IF you do have a tab w/ a screen on it, lemme know the model and brand, I'll look into it's driver capabilities.
ANYWAY!!! I know I'm sounding both super nerdy and super "English-As-A-Second-Language Tech Support" but I'm happy to help, and It'd be kinda pointless without knowing these, heh.
XP!!!
