I've got my work space more or less set up
and yesterday I made the aluminum skeleton
for Tabor's head. It looks OK but as I started
gluing up the muzzle (3 one inch pieces laminated
together) I realized the proportions for the ears
was off, so I took the skeleton out to the garage
for a bit of surgery. I also added a couple more
rivets to make sure those ears would never come off.
The muzzle hasn't been carved yet. Right now
it's a foam block with a rough sketch of what
I want it to look like when I'm done. Just letting
the glue holding the three pieces together thoroughly
set before I start carving, then Tomorrow I'll attach
the first bit of foam to this new attempt. Pictures
