Sex House

So the other day I was watching a documentary on tv with the wife. We don't watch many of them but we do enjoy ones that fall under our umbrella of interest. What was this one about you ask? Sex. Specifically, the sex trade in Canada (mostly). It was during this show that I learned something I didn't know. Prostitution is legal in Canada... ish. I say "ish" because there are rules you need to follow. You can't solicit sex on the street and you can't meet you clients in one common location, but if you're a call girl you can make appointments and meet people in their homes for sex in exchange for money.
Interesting.
It's set up this way to keep brothels and from setting up (which are illegal) but there are call girls in Vancouver that are challenging these laws. These call girls where interviewed and such and they're very nice people, they love what they do and they're not crack heads or anything (oh and they make about $200 an hour!). They're reason for challenging the laws is that currently the girls that are in the trade are going to peoples houses which does put them in an element of danger. If they (the girls) could set up proper sex houses they could provide security and health benefits for the girls, which would create jobs.
I'm all in favor of it in all honesty. I've never had a call girl but I think that the ones that pick the trade willingly and enjoy it totally own their profession. I know there are sex houses in Europe (Germany and such) and from what I hear they do very well. I would help get girls off the street and get them, what qualifies, as a job in the eyes of the government.
What's your take on it? Are you for or against legalizing sex houses?

FA+

Brothels with government watchful eyes would be safer for all involved, and would be -quite- the lucrative industry, especially seeing as the economy is in the dumps right now.....
=^.^=
And why not? Vegas allows it to a degree....

George Carlin put it wonderfully: "Selling is legal. Fucking is legal. Why isn't selling fucking legal? Why is it illegal to sell something it's perfectly legal to give away!?"
When i was in china i thought it was also interesting as a white guy they expect you to have money and you can go anywere without being offerd sex for extra cash. All the girls were always managed by den mothers, one of whom had a knife strapped to her thigh, which i thought was kinda hot.

Anyway, yay brothels! XD
2) Prostitution should be illegal completely. If women want to have sex for money, they should be in porn.
Congratulations on being paid to do your art. I don't think that will happen to me anytime in the near future. And btw, sometimes off topic topics are more fun than the original topics ;P
And true, we WOULD cum regardless. BUT, there are women who know how to do specific things better than other women.
and true enough
Before this nation would be ready to engage legalizing prostitution, It would have to remove political and religious interference from public, private, and parochial schools. Engage the narcotics problem in the US in a way that undermines the dramatic profitability for the cartels involved that comes from narcotics being illegal. Stop increasing taxes on legal addictive substances, which only fuels the black market. Engage matters related to dysfunctional families. And that's really just the tip of the iceberg here.
However, being as we have 50 states in the US, the problems I've highlighted above may have varied degrees of severity in any given state, and it would be far easier to push for legalizing prostitution on a state by state basis to provide research towards national legalization. I agree with the point you shared about Vancouver prostitutes not feeling comfortable going into a strangers home, anything can happen and prostitutes as history has gone to show, are regularly preyed upon by murderers. However, with Vancouver's situation that keeps brothels themselves illegal, it makes it easier for law enforcement agencies to identify those who are involved in human trafficking, which for many countries with large international populations is a serious and growing concern.
