i'm not a diehard patriotic american but i
really like the ongoing celebration of July 4th
because it gives me an excuse to eat
barbecue (meat+vegetables+anything edible that you can put sauce on and grill)
and
potato salad
and that stuff goes on sale for the holiday
i don't eat a lot but i'll eat the hell out of bbq and potato salad if i'm given the means to do so.
but I work morning->dusk on July 4th this year so I'm gonna have to wait for a day off so that i can grill hhuuuuu

I can now say that he's the only one I will eat bbq'd hot dog from... I have never honestly had just a mind fuck before about food but the way he made it changed my perspective... Is that weird? That I had a mind blow moment over food? I'm gonna be 24 in a week and have had this mind set hate for bbq'd hot dogs since I was a kid... ._.
That's super cool though! Yeah sometimes it just takes one person to cook something a certain way and then you're like "WHOA.... IT CAN ACTUALLY BE GOOD....." (I had that kind of a moment with carrot cake) (I h a t e d carrot cake for the longest time but then my dad tried using pureed carrot instead of using grated carrots and it was superb, in my book!) Give in to the bbq... embrace the grill... B)c
(bbq chicken is my favorite) (or kebabs because they're meat AND vegetables)
