Here's my simple problem with Terminator 3.

It wasn't trying to be it's own thing.

T3, in my honest opinion, had basically stolen the whole script to T2, rewrote it to include new scenes and make fun of other scenes with an ultimate goal of removing the conclusion of T2 to introduce sequel-ville. T3 was horrible in multiple ways and the only thing between Genisys and T2 that I felt was actually good was the TV show, the Sarah Connor Chronicles. (Think I remember that name right.)

I wouldn't place this movie above the original or T2...but, it comes in at third place with the show at fourth. This movie really did revitalize a failing franchise and was everything I was hoping it would be and makes me ready for the next installment.

Of course, I've already written about a whole different kind of Genisys AI that isn't about killing in my first published story, coming soon in Typewriter Emergencies...

Awesome :) T3 was actually the first Terminator film I saw, it was fun, but I watched the first two afterwards and they were much, MUCH better. The T1000 was an epic villain, but the T-X was waaaay over the top.

I like T2 the most (it's the most fun) but T1 is like one of those slasher films where the baddie appears to have died, but then rises back again for another challenge! Scary stuff.

I agree. The first Terminator movie is practically a science-fiction version of a typical 80's slasher film and it was awesome! :D

I've just seen Genisys too now. Definitely better than the last two films :D Terminator 3 was more of a parody of itself really, and Salvation was too serious and had no Arnold :P

I might be the only person that liked T3, but I thought it was pretty cool. The only thing I disliked was Salvation. I hoped the show would go another season myself. Haven't seen Genisys yet.

Yeah, but you gotta love how he gets his clothes in part 3.

I will give part 3 points for that scene. :)

I laughed so hard when he put on the star shaped glasses. :)

It must have sucked for Arnold seeing his younger self in CGI tho.
