An artist's feelings.

Ive decided to make a journal on how I just generally feel as an artist.
I spend hours on my work, which I think is pretty decent art.
But I'm hardly really noticed.
I work so hard on my stuff, but nobody really cares to comment or to really tell me
"Hey! This looks awesome!"
But then it seems the shit that I just kindof toss out, like chibis get more attention than the
art I spend four to seven hours doing. I cant do free art to get more watchers because any art I do
I need to charge because of bills and other expenses. But then people just wait and get free art from me.
It really hits me. Like I know i'm not as good as say Wolfy-Nail, Flecki, Rotarr and all of them but..
It hurts when I put so much work into something and I'm not noticed.
I know people probably wont read this, because let's be honest here. Who really reads journals?
I'm not trying to get personal attention through this, I just want my art to be noticed more, that's all that I really want.

it is exactly the same for me so...
I am so tired of getting so much attention for sketches and 0 when it comes to a peice I spent hours upon hours working on
And it is honestly so that many artists feel like they are less good. But this is not the case, never! If people watch and fave your art, that is in a way the same as people commenting in my eyes. It shows they love and enjoy it! :3
I have been helping artists as much as I can by promoting them. And it helps, every little bit helps.
Sadly but true, NSFW stuff gains much more attention. And Free stuff even more. it saddens me as a lot of people deserve better praise than the select elite. I have even seen artists that stun me with their artwork saying they aren't happy yet, because their own idols do not notice them. Best advice I can give? Do the artwork because you like drawing and draw from your heart sould and mind. :)
