Yeah, it's unfortunate that their programing is more about sensationalism and shark attacks than education and bringing attention to endangered species.

Fortunately it gets people hyped about sharks, and around FA lots of artists draw them during shark week, so it can be seen as more of a celebration that goes beyond TV programming.

and not to mention the completely fictional stuff they've been showing. I looked into it and it's pretty skeezy, especially towards some of the scientists they interview.

The art is nice, the sharks are nice... I've just been kind of mad about this whole thing lately. Here's hoping Sharkfest on Natgeo is better.
