I was going to make this post before, as I was waiting for something else of import to say with it.... But this is important enough to post on it's own. This weekend I crossed over to four thousand pageviews and over 600 watchers. At the beginning of the summer, I had less than 150 watchers and just over two thousand pageviews meaning I doubled my views, and quadrupled my number of watchers in just a month or two! The recent support from you guys has been beyond amazing, and I always love reading your comments be them commentary on my work, thoughts on my journals, or just silly shouts. I really appreciate that you guys stick around and bear with me, especially as I post a lot of varied material in this gallery.

In the past, I have dropped away from the FA community when the school year begins. School is important, but so is being here, posting work. For those of you who have followed me very recently and may not know, the business where I bartend/work IRL is in the process of closing/losing it's owners. We've found some people interested in purchasing the business and so all of the rights and ownership will be transferred over to them in the next month or two--at which point, I have the option to reapply for my position.

I've been waffling on this decision, as I am passionate about keeping the place alive and doing all that I can to make sure it succeeds, but I'm even more passionate about art. This is what I want to do for a living. Since you guys seem to enjoy it too, I'm feeling more and more like I am not going to accept a position when the time comes, so I can instead put the ~20 hours or so that I would spend working on the week devoted to producing work here instead. Next year I'll be a senior and I am set to graduate in June, so it'll be a bit of a rough ride--but you guys have shown me that I matter here (even if it is just a little bit) and you all matter to me a lot, so I'm going to make a serious effort to stay active.
