as in nothing gets past you, you are very quick to respond

i have 3 reasons

1. i can be forgetful, so i get short things done quickly
2. a good deal of my life is run on short time frames so i got to get stuff in when i can normally. and when i do have time to spare (like now for example, its midnight here) then i do it anyway out of habit.
3. i find a conversation loses something if replies are hours between eg, i entirely forgot about how we were going to change frostpaw into a lopunny when he comes back in our rp until i clicked on the wrong note

heh i got this week then another then im finally on 6 week break. although it should have been a 10 week break

:P honestly this is actually pretty annoying, we started the next year of the course several months early and we go on break soon. so we will have forgotten a good deal of it if we do past this year's tests.
also i hope my flavour descriptions arent too bad, cooking was never my strong point

my college is a cross between a 6th form college and a secondary school thanks to a merge some time before i arrived. While it does mean we get a few advantages from there and it benefits vocational courses (non of which i do though, numbers and ridiculous formulas all the way for me, doing maths business higher physics and chemistry) and the secondary pupils get better teachers it ultimately is drawn back by all these problems

they do a 2 week transition at the end of each year to sort of get everyone used to what they will be doing the next year. it doesnt work though, exams are over and nobody cares to learn more as holidays are coming.
but we AS/A2 students finished our exams early last month and they get paid by the amount of time students no matter what level they are so they kept us back and made us start early.

kind of sucks they could just change our timetables to 'directed study' for everyday and let us go but nope

o.o that is awful why would they torture you guys like that? I mean it would not be hard at all to change the times or anything to make it easier.

not sure :( but i think its to do with the new head of the leadership team. EVERYBODY hates him. for example, they brought in vertical tutor/form periods saying it was by popular demand.
Absolute crap, they even included us lot who were given a vote on whether we wanted to opt into it. NOBODY said yes. We got forced to do it anyway, so forms now are a bunch of little Y7s and Y8s who havent hit puberty yet and a couple of students from other years and a couple of AS/A2 students who are only stopping on because they are off to university come september or the one after.

This was after he came in and said that we were doing well and he is going to keep making sure that we stay seperate from all the stuff that affected lower years.

so not only did he go back on his word he also gave us a voted and then ignored it.

is it any wonder that of the 30+ staff who are leaving (which i reckon is about a quarter of the entire staff but i dont know the exact total) cited one of the main reasons they are leaving is how crap the upper sections are becoming?

i wouldnt be surprised, with had 2 days so far of what it will be like in september, so far its a nightmare. There was form/tutor time at 8:40-9:00 in the morning before. this was useful as if anyone student or staff was late then it wouldnt affect anything too much. now they moved it to the middle of the day which is stupid as if staff or students are late then they can be missing actual study time.

the one saving grace is the lunch period where there is nothing on has been extended by 5 minutes. I tell you something there is a lot of difference in those 5 minutes, it doesnt feel quite so rushed. it was 1000+students and staff to be fed in 20-25 minutes previously, now its 25-30 minutes.

o.o wow.... well at least something improved. even if it is not much.

providing everything goes well then i should be done with it at the end of next year :P the only other good thing is that my best friend is the other AS/A2 student in my tutor/form group
