As far as I know there isn't. Otherwise I think everyone would be spreading it and using it and talking about it. It's definitely the biggest thing FA needs!

It existed. I can't confirm whether it still exists. I can tell you it was an addon for either Firefox or Chrome, but I never used it myself.

There was an 'FA filter' Firefox browser add-on, but it is no longer being updated or supported. It had worked fine until then, but after it deleted my filters three times, I uninstalled it.

Like everyone says there was a FA Filter which had pre-made filters (such as hiding YCH submissions, MLP stuff, etc) but the creator dropped it.
It sorta half-ass works, but since it's no longer supported it only half-ass works.

FAFilter is still working strong for me, despite its depreciation. Now if only fucknut artists stopped misspelling "stream" in a pisspoor attempt at humor, so it could block said submissions.

Well, if you use firefox you could always use greasemonkey or similar custom-js-addons to achieve that effect. Of course that would mean some scripting though - but it's at least possible that way ;)

One thing you can do is use the search feature and a billion negative tags to filter the stuff you don't want to see. For example:

(thing_i_like|other_thing_i_like|etc) &-fart &-vore &-fat &-human &-baby &-babyfur &-diaper &-herm &-dickgirl & -scat &-hyper &-hermaphrodite &-futa &-watersports

7 Years later & there is no way to filter stuff u don't want to see and it sucks, its one thing that puts me off using this site as there is no way to "safely browse" without seeing stuff that makes me feel uncomfortable, upset, angry or disturbed. I already use and have always used the "Safe" Tag setting and sadly it doesn't fix ANYTHING.

The only current way it seems (which maybe a bit harsh) is by blocking artists that post content you don't like or want to see.

I wish, the amount of fetish and diaper stuff that goes unflagged and pops up through the mature filters is annoying. That stuff needs a nfsw tag.

Hahah, yeah I vastly prefer inkbunny by every measurable metric. It's keyboard blocking works well -- as does Itaku's, these days!

I have this problem too, I'm not into vore and there seems to be no way to avoid it (and people keep putting vore art under "general" when it's clearly fetish porn so turning on SFW mode doesn't help)

Try the FA addon "Filter Affinity" for your browser. It lets you blacklist artists and keywords from showing up, and such things simply will be erased from your list l3

TYVM for that suggestion. I've been trying to use uBlock to stop it and it's not so good for that kind of thing.

The latest submission spam I blocked was from ONE artist who flooded over 200 images of the same thing only with different colors over 8 pages of 72.

That addon worked brilliantly. Just add their name - one per line - and they are out of my sky forever! FA just got a whole lot better!

9 years later, still nothing, as far as i know. I just want to block gore stuff. I come to FA to see cute images and sexy stuff, not to see heads getting cut off or internal organs being exposed. I'm ok with mild violence, like cuts and blood, but the heavier stuff makes me very uncomfortable

Try the browser addon "Filter Affinity", available for most major browsers. It allows you to tag words in the title, tags, or description and it just makes such submissions disappear entirely -- they just don't show up. It's super good. You can turn FA from being a fetish-fuelled YCH ad hellscape into something usable l3

I don't think i can do that. I only use the website on an android phone. Most browsers don't support extensions for their mobile versions and the only one that does (Firefox) doesn't support Filter Affinity

I mentioned in a few more recent comments, because I made this journal.... 9 years ago, but if you are using a modern browser, use the addon "Filter Affinity". It allows you to set blocked withs in title, description body, or tags, and anything containing them just straight up doesn't exist. They just are completely gone, as if they were never there. Now of course, this only works if they do any diligence at all and use any relevant words in any of those parts of the submission -- it won't save you if someone draws a beheading and just uses none of the relevant words anywhere in any portion of the submission, so it's possible things can still get through. But overall, it works pretty amazingly l3

In case you're still alive : You can now block tags in your settings.

If you prefer to use the classic theme ( because the blacklist only works with the modern theme ), I use the 'FurAffinity (FA) Blacklist' extension on FireFox. You can blacklist tags & artists with it & honestly, it works fine !
