Mmm, well I recently found out about a tablet that cost $600 that is very similar to the expensive Wacom Cintiq (you draw on a touch screen that shows what you are drawing on so it's very similar to traditional drawing/painting). With my intuos I always had a hard time adapting to digital because my hand eye was thrown off and I was drawing 10x slower and I easily became discouraged. This new tablet looks like it might help me, but I don't know if it worth going after to help to get into digital. I learned how to do vector drawing on adobe illsutrator because I was ulsed to my mouse, but even then I'm slow cuz vector is very slow process, but I just wonder, maybe I'm not cut out for digital so this tablet might just end up a waste of time too? What do you think, is it worth trying to get into digital (by saving up and getting this tablet) or should I just get by with traditional? I know your a writer but honestly this bothers me a lot XD

Oh! That sounds interesting. I've always like the concept of tablets made for drawing, but because my artistic talent in that field is limited to stick figures (very badly proportioned stick figures), I've never tried and find more infos about them.

I honestly didn't know there was so much difference between drawing in a traditional way and drawing with a tablet, though! But I guess it makes sense... To me, it's so much easier to find new ideas and better ways to express them by writing on paper, as opposed to writing directly with my laptop. I don't know exactly why, but I think it relaxes me more and helps me "get the ball rolling", so to speak.

Having said that, I think you should give digital drawing a try! If you can manage to overcome the initial discomfort, it's still another skill you can use, and that always comes in handy.

The most interesting one i have fits in my palm, is smooth, and the color of aged bone.

I do have some small stones and gemstones, but they were basically stuff I got for free 'cause they were a part of a collection or something... Nothing of value in there, but they are pretty. I also have some stuff dating back to the Roman Empire or even earlier... some coins, a blue pearl-like thing that was probably part of a jewel... But then again, I live in Italy so they are relatively easy to find.

Just whatever pops into my mind. Caves, lush green landscapes (as long as my computer can handle it). Mostly stuff you might see in a video game.

I keep them to myself, since I'm amateur and they usually aren't very good.

So i'm a Navy Brat. I was born in Washington and have lived in California, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and New York. I went to 5 different elementary schools and thankfully only 1 Middle and 1 High school. I'm a walking paradox lol i'm a liberal republican/conservative democrat (don't know which exactly >~<). I like to write in my spare time but i never have the motivation or drive to complete anything actually worth while. I also love to draw but i can only do arial shots so i focus on map designs and such, can't really draw people ^^` Recently i have been going through some depression and anxiety issues because my best guy friend is going into the marines and i respect our men and women who serve but i hate the military so it hurts so much to not just watch him leave for the military but also being on the other end of the moving ztick, usually i'm the one leaving not the other way around. Good news however i may have a possible mate in the near-ish future which i am so excited about. And i love the fact you're doing this trickster, not many people like to ask people what's going on with them

Wow! That's certainly an interesting life you led! I've always lived in the same city all my life and my schools were all here (well, except for university), so I wonder how would it be to change so often. Probably not that good knowing me!

I hope your best bud will come home soon! Or did he actually start working for the navy? I don't exactly know how the US army works apart from what I could gleam from TV series (and that's probably grossly inaccurate anyway)... But yay for the potential mate! That's good news!

Luckily I finally managed to find one, but considering how the situation is - especially here in Europe - it was nothing short of a miracle, hehe.
