yeah, if ppl didnt post a journal saying so, no one would be looking out for them anyway. so why post if no one cares?

For one that's an unrealistic goal to set for Anthrocon in the first place. And two, because the virtue 'if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all' is just so.... BORING. I guess side hoes or groupies would care if somebody is going to AC. But generally they're all just journals to delete, as is any other one. Especially this one.

I know what you mean, but comically asking anyways, do you really get people asking if you're going to a con, on a journal that says you're attending said con? I find it more dun to be anonymous and badgeless at a convention. I've had my fair share of stalkers and to be frank, it's more fun being a "nobody". Met some of my closest friends at a convention I didn't know a soul at. And because of that, I'll keep the ball rolling.

i agree if you know folks from online who already go to the con you attend, then you have a reason to post a journal. ill go to EF next month and there is no one i talk to on here who goes too. so im pondering if i should post a journal - ppl wouldnt ask me if i went anyway, so its kinda like wanting to get noticed :/

That's his own twisted way of saying "I wish I was there". Punches in the face equal hugs, in furry language, etc. Taking offence to it is like taking offence to someone who speaks another language foreign to your own, that you somewhat understand, but don't. Learn it. :3

Haha. If I wanted to be there, I'd be there. I've been having a blast lately just traveling on it's own.
