I've been thinking about buying this software. Can you tell me a little about your experience using it?

It functions a lot like Photoshop tools-wise- you have the color picker, brush (one nice thing is that brushes are separated into different categories: pens, pencils, paints, pastels, etc.), completely customizable brush engine on par with Photoshop's, publication template tools, LOTS of comic-making tools like speech bubbles, special effect brushes, etc. There are some editing tools like tone correction and layer blending modes. MS5 has a few features of SAI that Photoshop doesn't have, like oil paint/blending brushes, better support for using transparency as a "color" (aka you can pick "transparent" with the color picker and paint with it with the brush, like an eraser- PS does this but only if you set the brush mode to "Clear"), a symmetry ruler tool which is super fun that neither SAI nor PS has. Customizable hotkeys for just about everything. Ability to import and export custom brushes. Photoshop is definitely better for design and photo retouching, but if all you do is draw it's worth it to pick up MS5.

I have Manga Studio 4 and loved it, so I'm glad to finally get an update for it for $15. :)
The only problem I had was that they showed it was Manga Studio AND the unfamiliar Clip Studio Paint. They are combined, but called Clip Studio Paint. :P Makes it harder to find on my desktop lol
