Back from AC + Full Time Illustrator!!

General
Bad (?) news is that I got a call from the coffee shop manager saying I had to be immediately let go from my day job because they weren't making enough money to keep me as an employee.
The good news is that I got the call right at the close of the dealer's den at AC on Friday, just as we started to turn a profit.
The best news is that I had made enough profit this weekend to make for this month's surprise unemployment.
The worst news is that our huge semi-annual property tax bill came today so I need to make enough to pay for that too... whoops!
So I am making a huge effort to be in business as a furry illustrator while doing some personal projects on the side: books and comics, most likely. It'll be my new 9-to-5. If you know anyone who needs art, badges, reference sheets, design consultation, anything, send 'em my way! I am determined to prove to my husband that art is a valid source of income since he doesn't believe me :P
Other plans:
Storenvy. I will be listing pieces of original art, books, and probably some cute bird accessories.
Patreon. I have one and there are a few people who pledge monthly. I will continue marketing that and finding new things to offer you guys.
T-shirt designs- these are fun and I've sold like 3 shirts... that means someone liked my art enough to buy it, right? :P
Free stuff, 'cause everyone likes free stuff
Books, coloring books, stuff
Remodeling my website
Another thing I want to ask: where should I be spending time online/where do you usually find artists to commission?

At the other end of the spectrum is a furry who doesn't do a lot of adopts, or illustrations, but relies on sales from custom designed pottery. This full-timer posts to Etzy, Pintrest and Tumblr with their new works.
I hope that helps. Take care!
