*~Evolution of Chip! Just for fun.~*

So, you guys know me. I generally don't stick with characters very long but Chip, she's a different story!
She started as a freakhound. I later gave her a coyote form but about two years ago, Chip was reborn into something I could love & adore. She became a concept for tangible in my own mind. She became a wolf dog! (Which still rings true to my personality.)
I created Chip to have a muse in which I could feel more alive in this community. I gadbeen struggling for years to find myself & with that came the daily/weekly changes to characters & designs that I could try to relate to. Not much stuck for very long. My journey started eight years ago, when I created Canid, but I've only really felt like myself in this community since creating Chip. She might not be anything special, she might have different colourations & help me to define different parts of my personality & therefore seem unsolidified, she's a common canine but she's mine &I'm so glad that I had theopportunity to learn so much about myself through her &this community.
So, just for fun & as an early celebration of Chip being my self positive representation for almost two years, here are links to her refs showing her timeline. Lackluster, I know, but I'll probably make her a birthday image soon since it's totally coming up!

She had always been Zuri and has always been a red wolf which is a species that I feel describes me pretty well. Her name was inspired by tlk being Swahili and meaning beautiful which is the same meaning of my rl name. It also means white in French and that goes well with the fact she has white tipped everything. Her design has changed sort of with my personal growth and I love how she is now. Her biggest design change is her lastest one but I changed it right after I came back to the fandom after being gone for a while so it works. I'm a new person and she's a new wolf. geez I wrote a lot x)
In response to our previous conversation about the leg stripes, I really like them but I'd adore seeing something a bit more organic in terms of stripes there & perhaps some on her front legs aswell? Something akin to just a few soft, thick, Zebra stripes in white.

It was a long, hard process before I settled on his latest design. He started out as a hyena/ wolf(?)/ dog hybrid because I love hyenas and was obsessed with wolves. His next species was a hyena/ red panda hybrid because I saw Havik and I loved how the tail dragged on the ground. I traded that design away. Sometimes I wish I would have kept it but it just would have been collecting dust. I never loved his colors anyway. With the next update I completely changed his color palette and changed his species to a hyena monster because I love claw hands. I never grew attached to the new design so I updated him again and now I love him. (Though I don't like his back. I'm still trying to figure that out)
He's now a mutt monster and has my personality when before I was trying to push him into being super happy and extremely social (which I'm not).
Sorry about the paragraph. ^^; I just really like to explain how I created him.
