Pondering Patreon. Also, writing Commissions still open.
So, as most of you may know, I'm a writer. And that's not the most lucrative work out there for someone who is trying to publish their own stuff. However I keep hearing about Patreon, and I'm considering it. Can anyone give me some thoughts on whether or not it's a worthwhile investment? I'm still not entirely sure how it works. I mean, they say it isn't like Kickstarter where it's not all one big project, but how and when do you pick up your money? Or do you even get to if you don't meet your projected goal? How exactly does this work?
And a quick head's up to remind everyone that I am still Open for writing commissions, and the info on how I work and what my prices are can be found Here, and Here is where you can find out what types of work I am currently accepting.
