Kitty Question/Advice: Tablets for n00bs!

The question for today is:
"What would be a good tablet to start off with?"
I know I've had a light experience with the Wacom Bamboo small tablet. But it seems that I've lost it between one of my moves. That or the table was broken by not plugging in, or having a bad pen with no replacements.
EVO is almost done and I want to make a few concept ideas in the upcoming week or so. Out of which one of the following do you thin I should get.
The old Wacom Bamboo - The same one I used years ago to make these / gems. It's small but travel worthy and somewhat professional

The updated Wacom Bamboo - The drawing size is a lot bigger than the old one. But it IS cheaper. Which brings about a little caution.

The same recent one but with Touch added - ....I don't see the point to add "Touch" as of yet...mmmm

The UGee drawing tablet - This one is a lot bigger than the other two/three. It's the same price at the updated Bamboo tablet.
