Please help, I can't draw. v.v
I keep drawing, sketching, trying to use my tablet and just I hate every piece of art I produce, I just don't understand I just am not happy with anything I'm doing, has anyone else had this happen to them too, if so can you tell me what I can do?
One of my issues it, yes I have a fairly unique style I've been told and I create unique characters, clothing, and items(like weapons and such). But I see them being mimicked or just ripped off all the time and it makes me upset.
Another is I just cant draw with a tablet and my art is not as good as my hand drawn work and gets me all grumpy, but I feel I need to learn it or I'm just going to get passed by by everyone else who can.
Just leave a comment telling me like your own situations and how you were able to fix them and any suggestions will be very appreciated.

And it's okay not to like your own art sometimes; every artist is their own worst critic. As for people ripping off your things, I tend to look at it with an air of flattery, they are INSPIRED by you so with to recreate it themselves.
Yes it IS a little annoying but these days I have stopped caring: My own experience and opinions only- I find you cannot control the world, and even less the internet. To go to an extreme example would be: if you don't wish anyone to rip off your work; don't post it. But then again that is not the nature of an artist; we love to share, to inspire, to find others who "art" the same way.
Perhaps your frustrations come from being so very unique~ I suppose it can be lonely in a sense..
You will have to find your own way to overcome this feeling: though it could be a matter of stress and frustration~ perhaps take some time for yourself and don't give a care to what others think. Just do what you want to do. I'm sure it will be awesome.
(I have been stuck in Butler character all day, so sorry if this reads as peculiar to you ^_^.)
Some things I like to do when I feel this way:
Watch other people stream- You'll be surprised how much you learn just by watching, and sometimes unknowingly your hands will do amazing things just because you watched someone draw a particular LINE.
Create a playlist for yourself, pick a mood, collect music and draw to it.
Don't feel bad about discarding sketches.
With a TABLET: draw ALL the things, things you are Familiar with drawing, things you have never drawn before, things that are stupid. It's all about practice. (To be honest I now find drawing on paper a task, as I'm constantly looking for the screen.
Hope that helps, even a little.
I guess what got me through was just trying to ignore those negative thoughts. Pushing to better myself and work on a piece until the thoughts were unbearable, then I stopped and
looked at my work and tried to look at what I liked about it. I ended up managing to complete a commissioned piece and didn't feel completely horrid about it. But streaming my
art while I work on it really helped.
Does feel like it helps me keep focused if my attention is slipping away a lot at the time :v
the people that mimic or 'rip you off' is a forum of flattery dont put to much stock or worry about it. it happens to the best of us.
What your having tho sounds like a typical Art Block. go look for things that inspire you and such. music, art, food, life ect.
this is a video based on a quote about people trying to be creative, its called "Nobody Tells This To Beginners".
