Samcat is doing better! We're not completely out of the woods yet, but he's been improving a lot just over the last two days. I've been giving him cat milk to help with the fact that he can't eat/it hurts him to eat right now until the antibiotics start doing their job full time. He ate a little wet food last night and actually chewed some instead of just licking the juice/gravy.

He's been in better spirits, as well, a lot more alert at things and purring/lashing his tail about. He chirped at me today, too, which was great to hear.

So I'm trying not to get my hopes too high, but it's SO relieving to see some improvement in him. I'm hoping what the vet thought could be something more serious is just a cat flu or a severe respiratory infection, because SO many cat illness symptoms overlap into each other (lethargy/mouth ulcers/weight loss/etc are such common symptoms they show up in almost all cat illnesses).
