SAI/TAB HELP PRETTY PLEASE

So I hooked up the tablet to my new laptop because I have some art owed to people and a commission or two.
IT IS FREAKING OUT
Whenever I go to draw a line or a curve, it lags for a minute then will draw the curve/line
BUT
the thing is that a straight line is drawn and then the desired line
And it looks so bad
andit's so sensitive..

I figured that it helps if you shrink the Image size you Are drawing on
Also you Need to have the computer switched on, plug in the tablet and then Switch the Tablet on.
You probably Know this But I Know that I still do it sometimes wrong XP
I don't Know if it'll work Since we probably have different tablets and programms But I Hope it helps :)
