For anybody on the fence, it's very worthwhile to get lessons especially when you're starting out or seriously want to improve. Hell, even just being around other people trying to improve is useful as you will have plenty of people around to critique your work. It's as we in the business would say, "Es muy importante mucho grande salsa verde."

^^^ I found even being in the group and hearing them talk has been really motivating for me so it's definitely true.
I'd love to find more chatrooms/site/forums with that kind of environment but aside from conceptart.org I don't know of any :C

Yeah, unfortunately the artistic industry is kind of without a place for good critique. Conceptart and Crimson Daggers have been very inactive for a while which is unfortunate since a lot of current professionals will usually list those as websites they frequented when they were learning. Currently the best, and the only way I am aware of, is to either get a mentor which is very effective although can be expensive, or try to start up a group of your own. I'd say networking now is even more important than it has been in the past for digital artists since then you're at least guaranteed to get opinions that you find valid.

Of course if you're ever in need of critique or artistic opinion, I'm always around =D

Appreciate it! I'm always open to critique if you ever happen to see something jarringly out of place in one of my works haha. I'd like to make a big skype group or something but I wouldn't want to have a bunch of people who aren't necessarily serious about it fill the chat with nonsense, you know? HMMM... i will look into it, thanks!

My only problem with Skype groups is how it keeps pinging you nonstop and giving you notifications throughout the day when people are talking about something you're uninterested in.

Will there be a class for basic anatomy?

My last class was all about anatomy. It covers gesture, basic constriction, the skeleton, musculature and the face. It covers basic anatomy and it also gets into the more complex stuff as well but it shows you how to break down the complex parts into more simple objects/shapes. :)
