Real Life

Is nothing different from when you go online, cause you are still in "real life" cause when you sit on your chairs in front of the computer doesn't turn you into a "fake" being living a "unreal life".
if you lie online about yourself, you are a "REAL" bser, if you pretend to be someone else online, you are a "REAL" poser, if you want to believe you are a giant ball of fur online, that makes you a "REAL" guy who wants to be a giant ball of fur ._.
my point here is... "INTERNET IS REAL"... you are just a person in a community full of others that share interests with you for "REAL"
if you say "REAL" life is different, then you must be on something fucking powerful shit cause you "go" to another world when you go online <<
by the way... life is awesome, when you live it for "REAL", that's what I believe, like the real person I am.

internet life is a box with words on it that people wish would be true, and sometimes go to great length to make it true, sure sometimes it works out for the best, but along with the good also comes 4-chan and stalkers.
i sometimes wish i could cut myself off from the internet and be free from it
still real life =p
*applaud*
I certainly know I'm better able to confront others, and less prone to feeling embarassment when showing my art or writing here than to people in real life. That is, deep down, what I believe I am. I don't think the "me" in real life, this young adult named Tyler, is as real as the "me" who is online, a persona named Arion, who is so much more articulate, more easy going, more courageous, than Tyler could ever be. To me, Arion is the "real" me, even if he's just an internet persona.
I think its sad when people think the internet isn't real life. It is. Is it any less "real life" than other forms of communication like phones, texts, snail mail? Is it any less "real life" than other forms of entertainment, like movie theaters, sporting events, etc...? The internet DOES have an affect on people, and I believe it would be naive to think otherwise.
as the real person you are, you would like to be more like your character, and you find it easier to just type and express yourself here... but don't take this wrong, the internet has a "real" effect on you, that's why is easier to communicate online for you!
Boy this sounds like it would be a fun discussion to have with a psychology class. XD
AND THEY'RE RIPPING MY FLESH OFF!!!
Silliness aside..
I agree and disagree with your statement.
I agree, for the reason that the international Network was created as a means to connect to diffrent people, whom have a connection. You can connect to family, friends, and stuff.
I disagree for the simple reason of This.
A lot of people make anonymous names and keep their identity secret from the world, bullshitting about themselves..like that they are a slim blond boy fox, even though they are a middle aged looser 30 year old.
Its easy when your anonymous.
or is it the same like a person doing a comment in a newspaper anonymous....
those events, regardless of what the person said, happen in real life =p
its not reality, cause you cant smack someone for being a dumbfuck over the inernet!
(I thank my ex boyfriend for that one)
but let me ask you then... can you smack the anonymous maker of a book?
but you can touch the book, and see the book, and feeeeel the book, and even lick the book XD! therefore is real~
Lets just say...
We'd build a awesome fucked up roller coaster together.

"note, if you spam, don't make it long, widewise"
Like moi..hah..
"I reject your reality, and replace it with my own!"
This is why more and more I'm retreating to my own head (no...not with drugs!). It's not a pleasant place, by any means, but at least I have SOME control there
reality... is only one, your own, indeed~
Internet communities are for cowards. No-one is going to hit you in the face for being a jerk. You don't have to worry about the embarrassment of being rejected by someone. You don't need to worry about your personal hygiene or anything else that comes as part of being in society. There is little chance of rejection because you can reach for a block button. 80% of communication is lost using text-based messaging, allowing you to do / act however you want.
What he's saying is that the interactions are the net are just as valid as those in 'real' life. A person can be just as fake IRL (taking on personas, lying about their personal life, PUTTING ON COSTUMES AND PRETENDING THEY ARE ANIMALS, etc.), the difference on the internet is that it's a little easier to do. This A person crazy on the internet is just as crazy offline.
The internet is just another means of communication. The connections you have are as meaningful as you let them become. So if you don't trust people on the internet, that's your prerogative. It's just as wise as not trusting strangers you meet on the street. But that doesn't mean all strangers are bad, you just have to be careful.
and indeed, the first point you made, so true, I am not saying that at all XD
And I'm sorry if I put words in your mouth.
if you honestly believe that internet communities are exclusively for cowards, that's your call~ after all you are in one.
Jerks, assholes, stupid mindless people and the ones that seek for problems are all over the place indeed, but they are... for real cowards that can trash you "safely" online but that would shut up in real life... this is a "real" little fucker XD
On a side note, if you believe the on-line world to be real, why do you make the distinction between them? Surely the Internet is just an extension of your reality rather than a separate space all together.
And when you see a movie, or read a book, you go to another place in your mind. For a while, it's just as real as the place you left. I look at is as a seperate space, more than I do an extension of reality.
I really wanted to agree!
si XD este tema llevo yo aaaaños discutiendolo con amigos mios y siempre me mandan callar por meter demasiadas filosofadas ajajaj
