Well, I'm extremely sociable and at LEAST giving me some insight to a comment on one of your images is what I'd desire to know that you're a human with a hobby and not someone who thinks they are too high to mingle with the common folk.

BTW: I love the pairing of Shelton and his sister. At least for storyline, a sibling can be closer then any lover. I have yet to read your story about them, but I will ASAP.

It certainly isn't a good thing to isolate yourself in this day and age.

I feel the same way D. I've been horrible about keeping up communications with friends online, especially via IM. I just hated always having millions of windows open at once, and I hated having to repeat the same set of problems over and over to everyone who asked how I was doing. I found when that happened the first person to ask would get the whole story, the second would get cliff's notes, the third would get hardly an explaination other than "just some stuff is going on" and the last person would get "I'm fine."

Does that sound anything like you?

If you've found a way to make this kind of thing more bearable I'd love to know the secret, as there's some people out there I'm sure I'm disappointing. :(

My wife could keep eight (I counted) IM windows going simultaneously while also playing a computer game. I don't know how she does it.

I'm not that great of a multi-tasker. I can hold more then one conversation, but not that damn many. And if I need to explain something more then once, I sometimes just copy-pasted my responses.

Way to go on wanting to be more social! Especially in getting the hell out of your home & interacting with others. It's the one thing that was of any real help during my serious bout of depression in 2008. Taking a shower, putting on clothes, and getting your carcass out the door can be the hardest thing in the world to do when you're emotionally the equivalent of shredded mulch. But it's almost surprising how much of a shot in the arm it is just getting away from your den, let alone actually hanging with people who enjoy being around you. Since losing my job I've been making a huge effort to take my own corpulent self out as much as possible, because even more than not having an income I'm afraid of hitting that depression again. Being in it & getting out of that was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I wouldn't wish that on anyone I cared about (but I admit to being enough of a vindictive bitch to say there's a select handful I'd be happy to inflict it on).

But more importantly--I want to disabuse you of the notion that you don't have a magnetic personality. You really are one of the livewires of the local furmeet group. People like you & your personality, magnetic or not. Deal with this burden gracefully & use you powers for good. ^_~

You're a bundle of pleasantries and goodness Kwan. Seeing you at the furmeets is one of the chief highlights!
