Well, I guess like charging for the number of words or going from how long you invest into writing something. Some people just set with a certain length and price as they see it comfortable. You could use one of your story submissions as a reference and thinking of how much you'd want to charge for a story close to that size, too.

How do I write a story based upon someone else's ideas?

Well, you need to gather info about the subject and the character that you will use. Know the character and try to think yourself into the situation. Simply imagine the things as much as if you'd want to draw something but instead describe it in words. It's about having fun when you read what you wrote down. Using concepts and details provided by others isn't that difficult as long as you gather enough info and invent the things you find enjoyable for the character. ;3

It could be something silly and fun like lil Totodude on a tour in a balloon factory and somehow ending up on one of the conveyor belts. You know, all sorts of toony stuff can happen in such situations going from flattening to melting to eventually getting into a different shape because of such machines though that's just one way to put it. I simply like everything toony that is still fun and enjoyable over violent and scary. Maybe your Wolfy-or Meercatself could be part of that story, too. You are the one with the "flattening" knowledge, Peter. =3

Hehe, that would be way cool. Me lil Dile is always in for all sorts of funny and over the top adventures as long as they result in something that makes me and all my dudes happy I'd feel like it would surely be totodily awesome to read about what nice things you'd describe there. And no worries. I can take all sorts of toony mischief thans to that ToonyGen that the professors used on me long time ago. I'm practically a half-toon of sorts. =D

Couldhave just your fav Flattening in it with a focus on it happeneing pretty slowly with describing how it feels inch by inch or it could have several other things like maybe lil Shiny getting covered in balloon latex stretched, melted and all sorts of things until he's a toy balloon just to get pumped up as big as possible. Like said, everything toony and not violent goes as long as it comes with a presentation of something fantastic and enjoyable for everybody. Me lil Dile shall still be able to stay happy even if he might wonder how to fix it. In the end he always decides to rather make the best of a situation, no matter what misadventures. X3
