Arcanine Day, anyone?

From today's Boswer celebration sprung the idea...
Apparently today was "Bowser Day". All fans of the king koopa got to indulge and what not. Now, I'm not a big fan of Boswer (disclaimer: not an enemy either, I definitely have seen some good stuff with him - e.g. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3094009/ , http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6994088/ , http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6893522/ [warning: all vore]) so on Twitter, I mused on the idea that I would rather celebrate an "Arcanine Day".
Several tweets later, I settled on February 28th, the 59th day of the year (Arcanine is #59 in the national Pokedex) as a suggested celebration for everyone's favorite firedog! =-D
It's a ways off, but I just wanted to get it written down and sow the potential seeds for making Arcanine Day a big thing.
