They're going to be limited to the elves? Well, that sucks... I imagine I'd be more upset if I still played the game. As it is I can only shake my head in disappointment.

I mean people are defending it by them being the only races back in the old days, but in an MMO, it's just very disappointing. Ah well!

Especially when you consider how Blizzard relaxed some of the race restrictions on the classes back when they gave us holy cows...

Are you new to wow? There's always been limiting in this game, and class/race limitations especially. Lore wise, any other DH does not exist. GW2 doesn't limit race/class if you wanna give that a try. As someone who loves and researches WoW lore, I fully support the race restrictions.

Are you new to WoW lore and class restrictions though, for they haven't been this exclusive since Vanilla/TBC/WotL times? Surely you'd know that Blizzard has expanded on classic class restrictions to allow more race options, like introducing the Sunwalkers for tauren paladins. So I'm sorry, that logic doesn't apply here.

Also I apologise that came out bitchier than I meant to, but I'm sick of hearing that argument when all I'm saying here is that restricting the playability like this sucks.

People siding with the class race restriction aren't the ones arguing. It's what blizzard is choosing to do. The arguement is everyone opposing it, which is ridiculous. And tbh, sunwalkers are one of the worst things ever made. When people complain and blizzard caves in, nothing good comes out of it. Tauren paladins are absurd and have no place in WoW lore. It was an on-the-spot crappy write up and design to shut people, like the ones bitching now, up.

You guys need to quit complaining cuz nothing good will come out of it. Example, the current female Worgen model, and sunwalkers.

Just let blizzard do what they're planning to do. They know what they're doing.

I'm sure they'll eventually rewrite the lore so any race can be one, just like they did with all the other classes. When the game started, Paladins were Alliance-only and Shamans were Horde-only, and the QQing never ended, both factions complaining about how the other was overpowered. Blizzard eventually broke down and let everybody play any race/class combination they wanted.

While I think it's silly to have hooves as an excuse, I don't think rogue lifestyle fits the tauren's nature . Kinda the same boat as draenei

Oh, right! There are a few you can't play. We can be stealthy, but it's situational. Like if we paint our hooves red, we can sneak up on you in a strawberry patch.
