First the good news: The hard drive was salvageable an now sits in a case as an external hard drive which I've tested and my files are safe.

The bad news: The computer's CPU, motherboard an inductor are fried and the repair cost is not worth for what is the current value of the PC. In other words, I've decided that building a new PC is the best option as I had been thinking about it for a while, circumstances just made it a necessity I cannot let for a later time.

As soon as I have the new machine up and running I'll resume all remaining commission work. I've emailed all remaining commissioners to inform them of this situation.
