I'm looking to dive into some animation, an would rather

I got motion builder for free from my school but Im looking more for some 2d sorta drawing animations program. I got gimp but Its just a pain to animate and be restricted to a gif format.

Idk what your stand is on free torrents, but some small time animators suggest Toon Boom studio
