Need to ask everyone a question! about Eurofurence
10 years ago
I am gonna have a blast this is something i understand and look forward too but i like to ask everyone who watches my page a question and i suppose it all depends on who has ever gone to Eurofurence in order to be able to help me. Blacktail i expect at least 1 responce from you considering you go every year but still.
my questions are as follows and i hope you all can help me.
1. does anyone know of good places to eat that my not be too expensive in the nearby area around the con.
I know blackie said shi help me with this when shi is able too but i don't want to be a complete pest considering i know shi is gonna be busy doing the con works and all. and i may just suddenly get an urge for some food and wanted to know if anyone advises something in the closeby area.
2. does anyone know of some artists i should look for that may be able to do Mecha themed artwork?
this one is very important to me as i normally go to cons with my 40k furry books and i need to get these filled up! badly need to get em filled up :) i love these books and would love to see all the pages filled *shi nods* ... though with the chaos book pretty much flopping on that reguard :/ *pouts and wishes there was more characters*
3. anyone know of something cool to see while i'm in germany to visit with Blacktail!
I honestly know so little about the country and there are some items i would love to see while there *coughs* European castle *coughs* but i need more ideas so please please please! send em to me. i know blacktail has some i imagine but more ideas the better!
4. any advise on affording horrible jet lag?
another kinda important one honestly :P
thanks again, Silkpaws.

I'd love to go to Colditz Castle, which used to be possibly the most hard-to-escape PoW locations in Germany. It's now a hotel, and has a museum displaying many of the artifacts from the escape attempts.
I also saw a few bars and such where you can get a bite
in the hotel are also 4 restaurants and they have a few cheap meals on the menü
2 I´m not sure who will be there and who can draw mech but I can ask around shouldn´t be a problem
3 Well we have a little bit of freetime and I wanted to go with you first to my hometowncastle (nothing big but was owned by the House of Nassau) today it host a little museum

and I wanted to show you a bit around my hometown
Neuschwanstein is a bit out of our way (6 hours drive) but I think you can explore Berlin a bit
otherwise we can talk when you come on Saturday
4 I was thinking that we relax in my garden and I fire up my grill and put a bit of meat on it should you help through your jetlag
But about Germany... wellChakat is right, compared to other cuntries, germany tends to be less costly, but still more than US. And it also depends on where ya going.
But I surely would be happy to see models at EF :o
Atm i have about 10 shops within walking range (500m) around the Estrel Hotel.
Forget the restaurant in the Estrel, the price/quality last year was an absolutely nogo. :/
2. Mechs, hmmm. Tricky question. you could ask Miles-DF since he'll be there too. Wolfy-Nail is also good with technical design(if not as main part of his pictures )
And if you're looking for really dark WH 40k i'd say Kaji ist the right Artist for you.
3. Well, cool things...humm. Starting with Berlin, if you have ever seen Conspiracy (USA/GB, 2001) (The Holocaust "solution"), the Villa + memorial is 1 1/2h by rapid transit from the Estrel hotel. Then the KDW(shopping center of the west(DDR time)), the europe center, the museums quarter...
