Well just like the title of this journal, I kinda inclined to agree and disagree on this but if there is prove to the story and such., well we could be looking at a full fledge mission to the moon to check out the ALIEN BASE

It seems that there's...so to speak...a whole Federation of alien races that are working together to do...something. And even more that aren't apart of this collection with varying intentions. One terrifying thing that is known is that at least one very Humanoid race is known to be carrying a form of Super AIDS. Highly contagious, possibly transmitted by mere contact or airborne and can kill a (Earth) Human inside of a week. And these short Humanoids are apart of this Federation, along with the pop culture icons, the Grays and at least a dozen other races.
I can grasp on a shallow level as to why multiple Earth governments want to remain silent over the existence of aliens. Avoid fear and chaos among the general populous. They have been here a very long time as observers and it is quite possible that if the whole truth were to ever come out, our whole notion of Human history would crumble apart. Those whose whole life revolves around religious views may not be able to adjust. Which is why, for the bigger picture, it doesn't really matter what is going on beyond our little lives. Living with comfortable beliefs is usually all one needs to get through life. After all, what if apart of the overall truth was that some race nobody has ever heard of was just waiting for some disaster sign to show up before sweeping in to demolish the whole planet and nobody could counter it? A notion of an unstoppable doomsday by something that couldn't possibly exist is far too heavy a weight for many to bear. After all, there are quiet explorations going on about history that would suggest Humanity did have a space age...right before something happened to plummet civilized life right into a literal stone age. Time has just erased so much of that history that if it wasn't recorded in stone, it pretty much no longer exists.
So, maybe it's best not to ask just what that US government base in Antarctica was prepared to destroy or why the Canadian government was creating a total blackout on communications and freedom over an isolated populous as they retrieved some kind of triangular craft that had crash landed in a frozen lake.
After the pick up had happened, there were only a few vital clues left behind about the events of that night. A bunch of parked vehicles. A lot of clothing about the ground with wallets and purses that had ID's and other possessions. And someone brought a video camera to film their encounter. The footage on that camera proved invaluable. Got to see the group of people gathered around, chattering about how exciting this whole thing was with faith in their hearts and such. Then, the excitement builds as there's this light in the sky, way off in the distance. It swoops in really quickly and is over them in no time, flat. Then, the camera is falling to the Earth as the light just continues on it's merry way and there are no more voices or people in the shot. The light never slowed down and the camera never caught a vision of any space ship. Just this bright, concentrated light.
It's not like the more classic abduction stories about being led to an entrance of a ship or slowly levitating through the air for a few hour visit. No. (I don't consider those aliens as the types to want to take a ride with, anyhow. They always seemed to have this 'Scientist to Lab Rat' relationship with us Humans. Probing and involuntary surgery while afraid and without sedation after a catch and release doesn't sound fun.) These people were just 'beamed' aboard inside of a second. Presumably, this was all a one way trip, too. So, what happened past that point is anyone's guess. Maybe those people are getting the best galactic experiences of their lives. Prefer that over some voluntary slave labor possibility. Or some other far more harsher potentials.
Then again, 'we' sent out this message to the Universe that showed what our bodies look like with a sampling of our intelligence. And, that message was already received and whomever picked it up had found Earth and produced a reply in the form of a crop circle. Whomever they are, they 'seem' friendly. Probably not apart of this alien Federation, neither.
