replace it with something else. Cold turkey NEVER works. Find an alternative drink you like and drink that instead. Same goes for food. Substitute the unhealthy stuff with healthy stuff you like.

I've had eggplant Parmesan and veggie burgers. I KNOW yummy healthy food exists. A quick internet search for great tasting health food will yield amazing results.

I can dig veggie burgers, but eggplant Parmesan makes me want to cry TwT.. Being healthy is scary.

1st: Stop buying and drinking it completely. Find something non-unhealthy that you want and save up money for it by using what you'd otherwise spend on the sugary drinks.
2nd: Throw out whatever sugary drinks you have. Don't let yourself have access to them. It will suck, but you'll pull through it.
3rd: Drink only water. Get/use a big (1L or so) water bottle to have with you at all times. It'll be more effort to get something else than just drinking the water you have with you.
4th: Sleep on time! You won't feel the tiredness if you go to bed on time enough to have 8-9 hours of sleep. If you can't get to sleep, shut off all your electronic devices 2 hours before bed, or use f.lux if it's just your PC to make it dimmed and reddish. This should help you get tired by the time sleeptime rolls around.

Calories are the former, caffeine is the latter.

Thus, when people are overtired, they tend to go for things like coffee, chocolate, or soda. ^^;

Gaaah! Been there! I had to replace fizzy drinks with other yummy stuff because I couldn't just quit. Waaaay too hard! I started drinking a lot of different juices.

What's crazy is that with that being the only thing I changed about my diet and routine, I lost about a pound a day for a whole month! Was crazy. I couldn't believe that what I was drinking had that big an impact. I actually thought my scale had broken at first. Lol. Needless to say, with those results I haven't gone back.

Yeah, i pretty much replaced my sugar drinks now! It's really tough, i'm addicted to them.. But i am doing my best! Really want to get myself back into my pretty shape :P!
